Her Circle
AOA oneshot scrapbook~Seolhyun stood on the edge of the snowy mountain, staring into the abyss.
Why her?
The wind howled, and thrashed violently across her face.
Of all the people...
Why her?
Warm tears fell from her face, only to be blown away from the cold air.
What does she have... that I don't?
'Seolhyun!' A voice shouted.
Seolhyun turned. Her legs were weak, shaking. Her hands were trembling, as she struggled to wipe away the fresh batch of tears streaming from her eyes. But to no avail. Her eyes were blured, and she struggled to see.
And yet, there was no mistaking the figure moving towards her.
Her long legs dug into the snow with long strides, puffing up snow behind her. Her white parka seemed to reflect light on it's own.
A strand of golden hair waved in the air, accented by the wind.
'Seol...' The tall figure muttered, panting.
Seolhyun turned back around, unable to face her.
'Why her.' She simply stated.
'What are you talking about? Can you come back down plea-'
'You and Mina. Why.'
'I-......'
'Why.'
'How did you... know...' The figure breathed.
'I saw you two. At the beach.'
'Seolhyu-'
'Why. Just tell me why.'
'I...... it happened...'
Just happened?
'Everything happens for a reason.'
'I...'
Don't love me anymore?
Conversation ceased between the two. The wind resumed it's howling, roaring away.
Just bring yourself to say it...
Snow began to fall harder, bathing the two in an eternal drape of white.
Seolhyun continued staring forwards. Everything seemed surreal.
Why... of all the people...
'I feel something with her.'
Seolhyun blinked.
What?
'I feel something with her. Everytime i'm with her...... I don't want to leave. I want it to last forever.'
Bullets pierced straight through Seolhyun's heart.
'You've never had that... with me...'
'I-... I have but...'
Seolhyun felt her arm numb. The snow was freezing her up.
'Seol... can't you understand?'
Understand what? That you're a piece of filth?
'We can still be friends.'
The snow rustled, as the figure stepped forward.
'WHY HER! OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHY NOT ME!!!'
'Seol...*sniff*... hyun....' The figure sniffed.
Seolhyun never looked back. She stared forward into the view that was greeting her eyes. The sun was falling, and light was fading fast. In this short time period it painted the sky canvas a mixture of fire and lava, bathing the earth with it's warmth.
Where had she gone wrong? She had loved with all her heart. Given all she had. She was there every single time. She had been the best sup
