Getting Back Together
HyoHyuk One-Shot CollectionThe divorce papers were filled. Hands were shake. Eunhyuk moved out of their house and took all of his stuff with him and live with Sunny. While Hyoyeon stayed at their house, she can’t bare to leave the house she had made so many memories of Eunhyuk with. Thanks to Jessica and Tiffany’s help, she finally open a branch of her shop in the city. Things were doing great in their lives but they both know something is missing.
Eunhyuk sometimes stop by her shop to hope to catch a glimpse of her as they both got busy and never meet again after the divorce, which was a year ago.
~A year before~
“You two are now no longer husband and wife.” The lawyer said. “I hope you two made the right decision.” She said as she shakes both of their hands. As they both walk out of the court, Eunhyuk can’t help but to feel guilty. But things were done and there’s no turning back.
“Well, I guess this is goodbye.” Hyoyeon said, force a smile as she turns to him. Eunhyuk can see that she’s trying to keep her tears in.
Eunhyuk nods. “Yeah…” He said.
Hyoyeon smiles. “You came that night, didn’t you?” She asks.
Eunhyuk nods.
“I figure that out.” Hyoyeon said. “And you also took your clothes.”
Eunhyuk nods again. “Look, I won’t stop you to become a fashion designer, but-“
“But you still want me to work as a diplomatic. I know.” Hyoyeon said. “I understand. We do have things uncommon.”
“Hyo-“
“From now on, I’m a Kim again.” Hyoyeon said, chuckling. “I never guess you would have file a divorce…But I guess it’s for the better.”
Eunhyuk didn’t say anything as he looks at her.
“Well, you should go home.” Hyoyeon said. “I have to wait for Jessica. Just come by anytime when you want to get your stuff.”
Eunhyuk nods and walks away, but after making sure he is far away enough, he hid behind a wall to look after Hyoyeon. Hyoyeon sits on the stairs as she waits for Jessica to come. Eunhyuk’s heart broke to pieces when she started to cry. How he wishes time could turn back so he could have him as his wife, hug and kiss her everyday and have her by his side again. He felt guiltier as time passes, she’s still crying, not caring the other people looking. Then, he saw a car pulling up and Jessica came running out.
“Hyoyeon-ah!” He heard Jessica said as she runs up the stairs and hugs Hyoyeon.
“S-Sica…” Hyoyeon chokes.
“Did you signed the papers?” Jessica asks.
Hyoyeon nods. “That’s what oppa wants. So I signed it.” Hyoyeon said, tears falling down. “A-and it hurts. It’s hurts a lot.” Hyoyeon cries. “I loved him so much…a-and we weren’t even married for a very long time.”
Jessica frowns and hugs her tightly and wipes her tears. “It’s ok, calm down. I’m here now.”
Hyoyeon nods and hugs Jessica as she continue to cry.
“There, there.” Jessica smiles as she pats Hyoyeon’s back. “Let’s go, I’ll take you home.”
Eunhyuk stands there, watching Jessica leading Hyoyeon down the stairs and into the car. He looks at Hyoyeon and clutch his chest. “I’m sorry, I should have let you explained. I wish things could be back to normal.”
~Back to present~
Eunhyuk looks around the shop and smiles at how well the business is growing. He even saw Jessica’s product being place in the stores, knowing that the two girls probably are helping each other by combining their two shop together.
“Eunhyuk-shii?” A voice call out.
Eunhyuk turns around and smiles. “Seohyun.”
“Annyeonghaseyo.” Seohyun smiles. “I haven’t seen you since…last year, when you and unni…you know.” She said, not wanting to mention the divorce.
Eunhyuk chuckles. “Well, yeah. How are you?”
“I’m fine.” Seohyun said. “Unni misses you a lot. She still kept the wedding albums at home.
