The girl he loves
Watching his girlfriend sleeping may seem a little bit creepy, but Vernon couldn’t help it when Wendy looked so peaceful, serene and adorably cute.
With her pinkish lips parted slightly, her eyebrows furrowed, and one arm hugging her blue butterfly pillow which she kept ever since she was a kid, how could someone resist that kind of cuteness?
Three months and a half had passed since they got together, and everything between the two of them was perfectly smooth and fine.
Well, they would argue and disagree sometimes, but they would make up in an instant since Wendy could never stay mad at someone for a long time, while Vernon at the other side was naturally born as a calm-natured person to begin with.
“Wen, wake up!” He shook her shoulder as gentle as he could, and guilt seeped through him when the girl let out an irritated groan.
After a few minutes, Wendy spoke with her tired eyes still closed.
“You know sometimes I want to kill you, Vernon Choi Hansol.”
Vernon laughed and thought to himself, How sweet of you, sweetheart!
“Walk with me.” He said, offering a hand to help her get up.
“Don’t tell me you woke me up because you want take a walk? What time is it anyway?” Wendy said in disbelief, laughing a little.
“One in the morning.” Vernon glanced at the clock nervously, hoping that Wendy won’t scold him.
