Chapter Eighteen
The girl he loves
“They’re all gorgeous, Seulgi. How am I supposed to choose?”
Wendy gasped at the sea of wedding gowns that surrounded her from left to right. Each gown was prettier than the other, making her have a hard time choosing the most suitable one.
“I know someone who can help you.” said the older girl as she motioned Wendy to follow her until they came to a stop in front of the fitting room.
“Tiffany unnie.” Seulgi called out. “Tiffany unnie, are you there?”
Seconds later, a head popped out, greeting both customers with crescent moon eyes and a beaming smile.
“Seulgi-yah, what a surprise! What are you doing here, sweetheart?” The lady asked as she locked the youngster into a sisterly hug.
Tiffany was a bit confused seeing her here since Seulgi never liked attending weddings or entering bridal shops in general.
“My sweet girl right here is getting married in three months, and you know this shop sells the best dresses.” said Seulgi, beckoning for Wendy to step forward. “This is Wendy Son, one of my best friends, and Wendy, this is Tiffany Hwang, my cousin and a friend of the shop’s owner.”
The two shook hands before Tiffany excused herself.
It took around seven minutes until Seulgi’s cousin came back with the dress hanging on her arm.
It wasn’t heavy or bulky to carry since Wendy has a small body, and as if Tiffany was able to read her mind, it was exactly what she wanted to wear.
“Would this be perfect?” Tiffany asked.
Wendy and Seulgi exchanged glances, wide grins spread across their faces.
“Absolutely perfect.” They exclaimed in unison.

Fortunately, the tree house wasn’t that high, but it still left her with a twisted ankle and a slightly fractured arm.
Wendy wasn’t mad because accidents happen a lot, but she won’t deny that she was a bit sad that her wedding was going to be postponed until she recovered.
She wanted the ceremony to go on even if she wasn’t in a proper situation.
Unbeknown to her, her husband-to-be, Seulgi and Wonwoo had already planned everything.
“Wake up.” Seulgi gently shook the sleeping girl. “You have to get ready right now.”
“Get ready for what?” Wendy stirred before opening her eyes.
“For your wedding.” Seulgi replied, a big smile plastered on her face.
“W-Wedding? But I thought it was postponed, and how could I walk?” Wendy blinked her eyes innocently.
“Oh my sweet girl, in case you forgot, there’s something called crutches.” The older girl chuckled before looping an arm around her best friend’s body to help her up.

Wendy could swear that her friends were very creative.
With a little help from some doctors and nurses, an extreme makeover had been done to the hospital’s cafeteria, turning
