Someday
Ephemeral Bliss
"Someday"
“Thoughts of you invade my head
Truths are written, never said
And if I can't be yours now
I'll wait here on this ground
Till you come, till you take me away
Maybe someday
Maybe someday”

"Do you accept thee as your lawfully wedded husband?"
With an unwavering voice and a lovestruck gaze, the response was almost immediate.
"I do."
The same question was asked to the groom who, given his tough persona, surprisingly had a hard time holding back his tears and smile. As the vows and rings were exchanged, two people sitting at the back of the pews couldn't help but feel happy and proud.
"Beautiful isn't it? They've waited such a long time for this. Especially Sooyoung unnie.” Seohyun commented wistfully.
Yonghwa didn’t miss the tone in her voice. With his eyes fixed on the groom who could barely recite his vows calmly, he smiled and tried to keep his composure. He tried to ignore the bitterness within but to no avail. With the tension hanging in the air, they knew that the white elephant was sitting right in front of them, as if mockingly saying,

Yonghwa could sense her personal struggle and he tried his best not to laugh. However, the more he stifled his laughter, the more it irked her. He tried to subtly reached out to hold her hand, but the second their fingertips brushed, she swooped her hand away.
“Stubborn.” He said in between his fake coughs.
“Jerk.” She retaliated.
“Impatient.” He snarked.
“Coward.” She answered back.
“That makes the two of us then.” He chuckled.
Yonghwa turned his head at the same time Seohyun did, and as a result, their gazes met for the first time since they stepped foot inside the venue. For a moment, it felt like nothing else existed except for him and for her. The minister’s voice as well as the swooning crowd were drowned into oblivion as they held their gaze firmly.
“So much for switching up entourage partners.” Yonghwa thought as he recalled his childish effort to avoid bumping into her or even be in close proximity. A stupid trick which eventually backfired during the last minute thanks to their close friends’ conniv
