6 Years Later

“Got everything yet?” Suho asked Sooryun. The girl nodded her head with a sheepish smile and tugged on her jacket slightly

They were now leaving the University and College they had studied abroad in for the past 5 years and going back to Korea to finally take over the business for good

Within the years, the two had surprisingly worked hard for the company and studied at the same time. Now, they could officially take over Kim Enterprise

However, ever since the separation of Jimin and Sooryun, the girl transferring schools soon after, they had not seen a single hair from BTS or VIXX, except for their TV appearances

Unlike Suho and Sooryun who continued to further their education, BTS and VIXX had actually decided to stop at college and take over their parent’s business early

“This is it. We’re going to finally take down your parents. You can do this right?” Suho asked worriedly and Sooryun smiled sadly, nodding

“Its time they get what they deserve. I’m ready for it” Sooryun said and Suho smiled and hugged her, feeling butterflies in his stomach

Flashback

As Suho set their luggage on the floor of their new apartment in Sydney, he lets out a small groan and plops onto the couch

Sooryun quietly made her way to the bedroom, wanting to take a shower when Suho called her out, his tone slightly nicer than usual

Sooryun’s breath hitched and Suho softened at her tired figure. He approached her and she flinched slightly when Suho placed a hand over her shoulder

They had gone over an argument before leaving and Suho, for the first time ever, slapped her out of anger, with the hand which his ring was on

“I’m sorry okay? I didn’t mean to, I swear. Go and take a shower, I need to talk to you later on about your parents” Suho said softly

Sooryun was beyond confused at how Suho’s personality changed when he arrived here. Ever since the plane ride, he had been all soft and Sooryun wanted to know why

Not wasting any time, Sooryun went into the bathroom and took a nice shower before coming out, noticing some takeaway food on the table and Suho scrolling through his phone

“I got you some Chinese food. Have a seat and we’ll talk after you ate” Suho said and Sooryun nodded, taking a seat in front of Suho

Surprisingly, he didn’t touch his food, despite the fact that he said he was hungry at the airport earlier. The atmosphere was tensed

Once Sooryun finished eating, she cleared her plate and sat back in front of Suho, who finally placed down his phone

“First of all, I want to apologise” Suho started off seriously. Sooryun just nodded her head, thinking it was because of the slap earlier until Suho shook his head

“Not only for the slap earlier but also because of the times I had violated you and used you. I deeply apologise

It was not my intent” Suho said and Sooryun started to get curious. Why was Suho suddenly so polite and formal with her?

Suho took out something from his jeans pocket and placed it on the table in front of Sooryun. She looked at it curiously and her eyes widened

“S-secret agent? B-but, what did I do wrong?” Sooryun stuttered, suddenly feeling scared that she might’ve broken a law or two unnoticed

Suho chuckled and shook his head, putting his ID away.

“You didn’t do anything wrong Sooryun-ah. Your parents on the other hand did. They’ve actually been getting funding from the underworld, black market you see

In return the items they are producing and selling, some of them contains illegal items like drugs and weaponry” Suho explained.

Sooryun couldn’t believe her ears. Her parents…were involved in illegal dealings? No, that’s not true…As evil and cruel they were to her, she didn’t believe that her parents would go to that extent

“I-I can’t believe you” Sooryun stuttered and Suho nodded in understanding, reaching to his bag and pulling out a file, handing it to Sooryun

“Those are some photos we’ve captured, your parent’s accounting details and the items they sold. Aren’t you curious on where that extra thousand dollars go?

The people working in your company, stay because 1. The pay is marvellous, 2. They have no idea what they’re doing or 3. Once they find out, they can’t quit because the contract states that there’s no way out

You see Sooryun, the agency have been trailing your parents for years. I’m really sorry we couldn’t afford to tell you anything about this but any leakage can backfire” Suho explained calmly and Sooryun suddenly felt light headed

Her eyes glanced through the photo of her dad handing a gun to a mysterious hooded figure, her mum close behind looking out for people

Then, the bank account statements that match. The day and date they transferred or received the money was on the same day they met their clients for the ‘items’

Sooryun’s stomach started hurting and she groaned in pain. Suho’s eyes widened and he immediately ran to the kitchen, grabbing Sooryun’s medication and letting her eat it

Slowly, Sooryun started calming down and eventually her breaths became even and she fell asleep. Suho sighed and ran his fingers through her hair

“I’m so sorry Princess. You’ve been through so much” Suho muttered. He gave Sooryun a peck on her lips and carried her to the bedroom, tucking her to bed before going to eat

Sooryun woke up to a dark and empty room and she felt her heart drum against her chest. She lightly called out to Suho but there was no response, his side of the bed was empty too

She got out of bed and slowly made her way out of her room, calling out to Suho again. She was afraid if this was another one of her nightmares or that her parents finally found out about Suho’s identity

A tap on her shoulder made her flinch and she almost screamed if it wasn’t for Suho’s familiar smelling cologne

“What are you doing up so late? I thought you were sleeping” Suho said softly and Sooryun looked down, not answering his question

Suho softened and embraced Sooryun, hugging her tight. Slowly, he made his way to her room and tucked Sooryun in to bed again

Before he could leave, Sooryun held his arm, not wanting to let go. Suho looked at Sooryun curiously

“Don’t leave please. I want you beside me” Sooryun muttered and Suho looked at the empty space beside Sooryun

Sooryun and him never shared a bed, ever unless it was for . Even when they were living together in Korea, there was never a time where the bed was shared for harmless purposes

Suho promised himself that he won’t ever touch Sooryun in any way he did before because he felt guilty. Sure, it was pleasuring but sometimes he just felt really bad

Although he’s lucky he got to sleep with her when other guys dream of doing it, he thought of it as bad luck. He wanted her to enjoy sleeping with him, not just pleasure, not just lust.
