The days passed by really quickly and February was history. Day by day, Sooryun’s personality slowly started to change. She doesn’t want to act cold to the guys, but she realized something

She was on her own

Even if the guys managed to find a loophole in the contract she signed, her parents would find ways to make sure it was destroyed

She can’t have the guys risking their family business and themselves for her well-being. Its too selfish of her

Her parents think of her as an item and its just a matter of time they traded her for something else or even dispose her when they no longer need her

“Ms Kim please solve the question” the teacher called out and Sooryun gazed at the board and rolled her eyes

Pushing her chair back harshly, she gave the teacher a sarcastic smile and headed to the front, solving the question in ease

The teacher inwardly sighed when Sooryun solved the question correctly once again. Sooryun turned and gave the teacher a look

“Listen, I’ve been so patient with you my entire school life here. Don’t think just because I kept silent, doesn’t mean I’ll let you off

I don’t plan my murders out loud” Sooryun whispered threateningly and the teacher gulped and nodded shakenly

Sooryun proceeded to her sit and sat down, her eyes looking out the window again. The teacher managed to get out of the trance and resumed teaching

Jimin looked at Sooryun’s back and sighed. Sooryun hardly smiled anymore with him or the guys ever since Su min left to study abroad

She exchanged less than 10 sentences a day and glares all the time. Its like she’s back to the old Sooryun, only without the ish behaviour

*Please tell me what’s wrong Sooryun…You’re not yourself anymore* Jimin sighed, looking at the circled date at his phone calendar

White day; The Day

Jimin locked his phone and looked at Sooryun back view again, smiling slightly when he remembered the day she accepted his confession

He didn’t realise he was staring that long until the teacher called out his name. Jimin’s head snapped up and he smiled at the teacher sheepishly

“Pay attention and keep your eyes of your girlfriend. If not I’ll change your sits” the teacher glared at him and Jimin just nodded, slightly embarrassed that he was caught

Sooryun gave Jimin a look and he just smiled sheepishly. Sooryun smiled slightly and shook her head, turning her head to the windows

Jimin inwardly cursed the teacher and picked up his pencil, continuing to scribble down his notes to keep his mind off the embarrassing incident

Jimin and Sooryun made their way to the garden silently after buying lunch. Sooryun mentioned that she was ‘too tired to talk’ so Jimin made sure he kept silent

“You have something on your mind do you? Say it out” Sooryun said and Jimin looked at her with a sheepish smile and Sooryun just giggled

“Well, white day is coming this weekend. You’ll be free right?” Jimin asked and Sooryun’s smile faltered slightly, before she gave him an ‘excited’ nod

Jimin smiled and pecked Sooryun’s cheeks happily, which made Sooryun blink I surprise. Jimin just chuckled and shakes his head

“I’m sure after that day you’ll be back to your real self, my cheerful princess” Jimin muttered and Sooryun gave him a weak smile

“I’m sure I will. Don’t worry about it okay?” Sooryun said and Jimin nodded.

Giving each other a sweet smile, they entered the garden where the rest were waiting for them. When they entered, they saw the guys sitting around with some familiar people

“A-pink!” Sooryun gasped and ran to the girls, hugging them with a huge smile on her face. The girls giggled and hugged her back happily

“Hey there, its been a while since we met” Naeun said and Sooryun nodded with a slight pout.

“I missed you guys” Sooryun said and the girls giggled and told her they missed her too

Namjoo slipped an arm around Sooryun’s shoulders and smiled cheekily, making the rest of them look at her curiously

“So, did Jimin tell you anything yet?” Namjoo winked and the girls laughed while Jimin widened his eyes

“Yah Namjoo don’t spoil it-”

“Tell me what?” Sooryun said curiously with a smile and Namjoo giggled curiously while Jimin pouted, begging her with his eyes

“That there is a wonderful time headed for you this white day” Namjoo squealed and Sooryun laughed while Jimin pouted

“I’m very well informed of that Namjoo” Sooryun said with a slight giggle and Namjoo just squealed and jumped around

“I don’t know why she’s more excited than Sooryun” Hayoung said and Namjoo pouted while Sooryun giggled and shook her head

“Its okay, its cute” Sooryun said and Jimin smiled at the cheerful side of Sooryun that came back

“Why didn’t you guys tell me that they’re coming?” Sooryun asked and the boys just shrugged.

“Don’t blame us. We were just as shocked as you were when they were introduced as new students at homeroom just now” Taehyung said and Sooryun nodded her head in understanding

Apink giggled and shook their heads

“It was a surprise for all of you then” Eunji said and the boys nodded while Sooryun giggled

They wanted to interact more when the bell rang, signalling the end of break time.

“Well, guess hell starts again. Urgh, Mr John annoys me so much” Naeun groaned and Namjoon chuckled

“Don’t worry, he irks all of us” Namjoon said and Naeun pouted. Namjoon just chuckled and patted her head

Clearing their food, they threw them to a nearby dustbin and began walking back to class while talking happily

On their way back though, Sooryun and the gang bumped into Suho and his friends. Sooryun was expecting him to give her a smirk or something but was a little shocked when he disregarded her presence and just walked away after dusting his shoulders

It was only Kris and Kai, who gave her smirks and winks before following after the rest of their friends

“That was weird. Did he finally give up?” Jimin asked and Sooryun suddenly felt guilt eating her up again as the memories of Suho and her having the day of the family dinner went to her mind

Remembering the deal they made, Sooryun forced herself to smile as she tugged on Jimin’s hands, letting him look at her curiously

“Ignore him. So what if he ignored me. Isn’t it better?” Sooryun said ‘cheerfully’ and Jimin smiled, nodding his head

“You’re right. He’s not worth our time. Let’s go to class before we’re late” Jimin said and Sooryun nodded in agreement.

Waving goodbye at their friends, since none of them share the same class, they headed up the stairs to their next class

After school was over, the couple met up with the rest at the foyer. They suggested to head to a nearby Ice-cream pallor before heading home

The incident earlier made Sooryun realize that she doesn’t have much time with the boys or girls anymore once White Day comes and passes

The day she dreaded is going to happen next week and she would probably regret all the cold shoulders she’s been giving them

So she decided to set things straight and have fun with the boys and Apink. There wasn’t any time to mop around anymore

On their way to the Ice-cream pallor, Sooryun’s phone vibrated. She took a look at the caller id and felt her heart sink

Mother

“Princess, you okay?” Jimin asked, his gaze went to Sooryun’s vibrating phone. Before he could see who it was, Sooryun turned it off, smiling sheepishly

“I’m fine. Look, the Ice-cream shop is just ahead. Last one there is an egg” Sooryun stuck her tongue out and let go of Jimin’s hands, running to the pallor

Jimin smiled softly at Sooryun’s running figure and started to chase after her, picking her up and twirling her around when he caught her

Sooryun squealed and laughed, her mum’s phone call left at the back of her mind. Jimin chuckled and placed a soft kiss on her lips, to which Sooryun responded to happily

The others groaned and jokingly tried to pull them away. Jimin chuckled and let go of Sooryun. They all entered the Ice-cream shop and enjoyed a refreshing cup of Ice-cream before heading home

Jimin, as usual, sent Sooryun home. Since the rest of Bangtan has to send Apink home and VIXX’s house were slightly further, the couple went back alone to enjoy their own couple time

The walk home was peaceful and light hearted. Jimin made a lot of jokes and Sooryun would occasionally roll her eyes and playfully hit his arms

Once they arrived in front of Sooryun’s gates, Jimin didn’t want to let Sooryun’s hands go. He was afraid of her living by herself and he was worried that her parents would one day kidnap her

He would have restless nights and terrible dreams about it but he never told Sooryun about it because he was afraid he would scare her too

Sooryun looked at Jimin, who was casually spacing out while looking at their interlaced hands, and shook him out of his trance

Sooryun gazed at Jimin worriedly and he could just give her a weak chuckle. Sooryun knew something was bothering him and gave Jimin a comforting hug

“What’s wrong Jimin?” Sooryun asked softly, not letting go of the hug. Jimin hugged her tight as if she would disappear any time

Jimin felt like something was going to take her away, like he was going to lose her anytime and he didn’t like the feeling not one bit

“Don’t leave me Sooryun” Jimin muttered and Sooryun softened when she heard how scared he sounded. Sooryun rested her head on Jimin’s chest and closed her eyes

“Jimin, staying together is hard for us, you know that right?” Sooryun said and Jimin sighed, nodding his head lightly. He wanted to pull away when Sooryun held him tighter

“I won’t leave you, emotionally, that’s a promise I’ll make and hold on to. I can’t promise you if I’ll never leave you physically

But I want you to know, that you’re the only guy I have ever seen a future with. Without you, I think I’m better off not living” Sooryun said softly, making Jimin tear up slightly

He didn’t want to, not in front of his girlfriend but for some reason, her words seems so planned out, as if she knows she’s going to leave him

As if she had finally given up on trying to save their relationship and save her freedom

“Y-you made a deal with your parents again, didn’t you? Why are you giving up so easily?” Jimin said, slight anger was heard in his voice

Sooryun sighed and released herself from Jimin, looking at him softly, her eyes showed nothing but love and a little bit of sadness

“I don’t want us to fight Jimin and no, I’m not giving up on us easily. I’m trying my best but I know my parents Jimin

My memories are full of them, their torture and their words. Its all tattooed in my head and body and I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep” Sooryun replied, her gaze not leaving Jimin

Jimin remained silent, not knowing what to reply. He knew he did something wrong by doubting his girlfriend again when he shouldn’t

Sooryun saw the guilty look in Jimin’s eyes and inwardly sighed in relief. She felt guilty for lying to Jimin again

She felt bad for making him take the blame twice. Once when he thought she slept with someone and this lie makes the second

But she loves him and she can’t reveal this secret, for the sake of Jimin and his parents, VIXX and Su min. She can’t sacrifice their happiness for one lone soul like her

Sooryun cupped Jimin’s cheeks lovingly and gave him a sweet kiss, to which Jimin responded hesitantly because he felt guilty

Once they pulled away, Sooryun wrapped her arms around Jimin’s waist and rested her head on his chest

“I know, you’re worried for me, for us. I am too. I really love you Jimin but Su min unnie once said that promises are life changing

That’s why I don’t make them unless I’m really sure I can keep them and I’m really sure I can love you for as long as I live” Sooryun said, tearing up

Jimin felt his heart softened as he hugged Sooryun tighter, appreciating Sooryun’s presence

“I Love You Sooryun, I really do” Jimin said and Sooryun smiled sadly, blinking her tears away. She placed a soft kiss on Jimin’s lips and sniffled

“I Love you too Jimin. I really, really do”

White Day~

Sooryun gazed at the mirror as she applied her last touch of eyeliner. Unlike her usual seductive make-up, this time, she applied a more natural and innocent look

She sighed when she saw the diamond ring that Suho gave as a sign that she was his. She had placed it in her jewellery box, since it was her day with Jimin and she’s going to be herself

*This is it Sooryun. After today, you’re Kim Sooryun; Kim Joomyeon’s fiancé*

A doorbell made her snap out of her thoughts. Sooryun made sure her make-up was fine and that the ring was well hidden before she went down

Opening the door, Sooryun was greeted by a bunch of flowers. She blinked in surprise and took them slowly, revealing Ken

Sooryun tilted her head curiously and was about to ask when Ken interrupted her

“I know you’re curious but questions are only to be asked later. Now I have a riddle for you. The time we spent is pure bliss

This is the place we shared our first kiss. The next clue is lying around, the place where I comforted you when you broke down” Ken said

Sooryun’s lips slowly turned into a small smile and she thanked Ken. Giving him one last wave, Sooryun hailed a cab and went to the hill Jimin brought her the day she told him about her past

Once she was there, she saw Jungkook sitting down on the grass, playing with the helium balloon that he had with him.

Sooryun sneaked up behind him and tapped his shoulder, surprising him. The balloon would’ve floated away if it wasn’t for the weight that was attached to it

“Gosh noona you scared me don’t do that!” Jungkook pouted and Sooryun giggled and apologised. Jungkook gave her his signature smile and cleared before he started talking

“I’m glad you remembered now here’s the next clue. Where’s the first place we went for our first date boo?” after saying that, Jungkook and Sooryun both cringed

“Don’t ask. We tried thinking of different things that rhyme but he insisted on boo” Jungkook rolled his eyes and Sooryuun chuckled and shook her head

Jungkook handed Sooryun the balloon and gave her a brief hug before pushing her to a car to which Sooryun noticed was Jimin’s and his chauffeur was in it

“Happy White Day Sooryun-ah. I hope you enjoy what Jimin planned” Mr Jeong said and Sooryun smiled and thanked him, placing the flowers and balloon at the side

“Are you my personal driver today then Mr Jeon?” Sooryun joked and Mr Jeon chuckled and nodded his head

“Apparently I am according to the contract the Park’s made me sign yesterday” Mr Jeon replied back jokingly and Sooryun giggled

“They really are a weird family” Sooryun said and Mr Jeon nodded, agreeing with the girl

“They are indeed”

The rest of the trip there was peaceful and they arrived within half an hour. Sooryun was about to take the gifts when Mr Jeon said that he would drive her to somewhere else later

Sooryun thanked him and went out of the car. She headed to the bicycle rental shop and saw 3 pairs of bikes

Standing next to the bikes were Leo, Taehyung, Ravi, Yerin and Namjoo. They smiled at her and waved

Sooryun smiled and gave all of them hugs.

“Why did you two come down though, you guys are a couple too” Sooryun asked Leo and he just gave her a small smile

“I made a promise to Jimin that I would help him way before I met Yerin and I’m going to keep it. Besides, Yerin doesn’t really mind” Leo said and Yerin nodded with a smile

“I’m not into this kind of celebrations. As sweet looking I can be” Yerin said and Sooryun smiled and nodded her head

“Well, are we going to ride a bike? Since there are 6 here” Sooryun asked and they shook their head. Sooryun looked at them curiously and Ravi chuckled, patting her head

Suddenly, someone tapped Sooryun’s shoulder and she turned to see Yuju smiling at her

“Remember the bikes, the wind and the sun? That day was indeed a whole lot of fun but all fun comes to an end

Come and meet me at Neverland” Sooryun tilted her head curiously and furrowed her brows

“Where on earth is Neverland?” Sooryun asked and the 3 ‘couples’ chuckled and shrugged their shoulders

“We only get the riddles, not the answer. I can give you a clue though, it’s a very memorable place for you and Jimin” Ravi said and Sooryun thought for a while more before she smiled and thanked them

She entered the car and told Mr Jeon to drive her to the school. Mr Jeon smiled and nodded his head and they made their way there

Once Sooryun arrived at school, which was surprisingly opened, Sooryun made her way pass the corridors to the stairs

Once she arrived in front of the door that bared the word 'rooftop', she caught her breath slightly before pushing open the door and seeing a familiar looking back

Sooryun didn't care about the nice decorations or the cute rooftop dinner that was prepared at the side. All she saw was Jimin

She smiled and ran towards him, wrapping her arm around his waist and inhaled his scent

*Vanilla* Sooryun's smile grew when she felt Jimin holding her hands that stopped just around his waist, a perfect match

"Happy White Day Princess" Jimin said softly and Sooryun snuggled closer to him, appreciating the warm aura

"Happy White Day My Prince" Sooryun muttered and Jimin smiled widely at her words
Sooryun usually won't say things like that. She would usually cringe but today, she seemed relaxed and happy enough to say it

He was glad that he got to see her sweet side, a sweet side only meant for him and him alone. Gosh, he is so in love with her

And the good part is, she was just as in love with him as he is with her.

Jimin turned and softened when he saw Sooryun. She looked beautiful. Not like her usual fierce and y look

Sooryun actually looked gorgeous, like a pure an innocent girl she has always been. The girl before everything crumbled

"You look beautiful today" Jimin said honestly and Sooryun blushed slightly, mumbling a small thanks

Jimin smiled and held Sooryun's hands delicately and brought her to the small rooftop dinner he had set up

Sooryun finally noticed the familiar looking scene. The nicely decorated rooftop and a bear mask lying at the side

*The confession*

Sooryun smiled as memories of when Jimin and her got together replayed in her head

"The time you accepted my confession was the greatest thing that could've ever happened to me

So I thought, why not reminisce it right?" Jimin said and took out a bear, a familiar looking bear he had given her during the confession

Sooryun gazed at it as her lips formed a wide smile. She trailed the bear's features as her eyes started to water

"The flowers Ken hyung got, were the same flowers you received during my confession. 

The balloon that you got, was the same one during your birthday

All those were the perfect and blissful moments that I love and I hope that you do too" Jimin said lovingly and carefully wiped Sooryun's tear, careful not to smudge her eyeliner

"Of course they are precious to me. Just as much as how precious you are to me. Jimin, this is just, too perfect" Sooryun said, sniffling slightly

No one, not even Suho, made her feel this special. Indeed, Jimin is someone who means the world to her. 

She doubts her childhood lover, if she ever has one, could top whatever Jimin made her felt

Jimin smiled softly and pressed a kiss on Sooryun's forehead before leading her to the table and letting her seat down and taking a seat in front of her

Sooryun gazed at the spaghetti that was set up in front of them and gave Jimin a look

“Did you cook this or buy this because if you cooked it I’m going to have to reject it” Sooryun joked, knowing fairly well Jimin couldn’t cook

Hell, he mixed up salt and sugar once and let’s say, the cake didn’t taste sweet at all. It was as salty as the ocean

Jimin rolled his ey
