I'm sorry for the sudden dissapearence TAT I was so busy. I'm back though so let's continue with the story go go go!

The day Sooryun dreaded finally came by. To say she was afraid to meet her parents again was an understatement, she was terrified. Its gone to the extent that she didn’t want to let Su min go

“Are you sure you’ll be fine without me?” Su min asked worriedly. Sooryun could only give her a weak smile and nodded her head

“Unnie, you’ve been wanting to study law your whole life. This is a once in a lifetime chance for you. I’ll be fine here.

Don’t worry and have a nice time at Harvard hm?” Sooryun said and Su min nodded

“I will. Don’t forget to video call me okay? Keep in touch and I expect you to take a photo when you graduate okay

Fetch me at the airport when I come back understand?” Su min teased and Sooryun giggled, nodding her head

*I’m sorry if I break that promise unnie*

“All packed up and ready to go?” Sooryun asked and Su min smiled and nodded.

The doorbell rang and the guys were already at the front door, some sulking and some congratulating her

“I refuse to send you to the airport” Jin said and Su min just made a face.

“Sooryun is my best friend and she’s not sulking like you guys” Su min said and Sooryun chuckled while the guys pouted

They piled up into 2 different cars and headed to the airport. The whole ride there, Sooryun was trying her very best to be cheerful despite her racing heart

“Right Sooryun?” Taehyung asked with a chuckle and Sooryun snapped out of her daze and gave him a sheepish laugh, agreeing without knowing what she was even agreeing to

“I’m glad you agreed that you’re the guy in the relationship princess” Jimin said sarcastically and Sooryun widened her eyes

“Oh my gosh I didn’t even know sorry” Sooryun said in a surprised tone and felt her heart almost drop when Jimin didn’t face her

She knew, Jimin doesn’t like it when they switched their roles in the relationship, that he feels let down whenever someone says that so that’s why she never agreed to it

“J-Jimin you know I didn’t mean it I zoned out. Please forgive me” Sooryun whined and Jimin looked at Sooryun who was pouting

Unable to resist, Jimin smiled and wrapped his arms around Sooryun, taking in her nice scent of lavender perfume

“I can never get mad at you” Jimin whispered and Sooryun smiled while their friends gagged

“Get a room”

“I’m going to throw you out”

“Kiss and die”

The couple could only laugh and shake their heads.

*I still have time…I still have time*

When the 2 groups arrived at the airport. Sooryun went with Su min to get her checked in while the boys looked at the screen that has the names of different flights to different countries

Jimin looked around and saw the familiar naming country on the screen

“Portofino” he mumbled out and smiled, remembering the dream Sooryun and he shared a dream.

*We’ll go there one day Sooryun, I promise*

When the girls came back, Su min said her last farewells to the guys. Hoseok tried hard to conceal his tears and Namjoon consoled him

Su min then told the guys she wanted to talk to Sooryun in private to the guys went to the corner to cheer Hoseok up first

Su min took something out of her bag and passed it to Sooryun. It was a necklace with a locket. Inside, their very first photo was placed

It was the time they shifted to the house they were currently staying in. They managed to rent with the savings the both of them got throughout the year

“Sooryun, I know that you’re hiding something from me, but remember this, I’ll always be there for you no matter what happens

Keep to your promise and continue contacting me okay? Even if you don’t contact Jimin anymore” Su min muttered and Sooryun widened her eyes

“How did yo-”

“You really think Min ho is going to let you go through with your plans without telling anyone? Sooryun, do whatever you must but never give up hope on Jimin

Even if it seems like it the end, never lose hope” Su min smiled sadly and Sooryun teared up

Sooryun wrapped her arms around Su min tightly, hugging her as if she was going for war. Tears flowed out and Sooryun felt Su min hugging her back, her hair

“It’s going to be okay. You’re going to be fine. You’re going to be fine. I’ll be there for you every step of the way

I promise, you’ll get the freedom you deserve” Su min said and Sooryun smiled, tears flowing out.

*I promise you Sooryun, I will make them pay for your sufferings. Just bear with me for a few years*

The two friends returned back to the guys after that touching moment together. Jimin held Sooryun close since she was still sniffling

“Have you checked if you missed anything else?” Jin asked and Su min smiled and shook her head. Jin patted her head and gave her a brief hug

“Be careful over there and make sure you don’t do anything stupid” N said and Su min rolled her eyes

“I’m more logical than a guy who passed out when I showed him a worm” Su min retaliated and the rest laughed while N blushed and pouted

The rest wished Su min good luck one last time and headed to the gates.

Hoseok hugged Su min tenderly and lovingly, giving her a sweet kiss. The rest didn’t complain this time, since it will be the last time the two would be seeing each other until a few years or so

Once Hoseok released Su min, he gave her one last hug before Su min had to make her way into the gates

“We’ll miss you Su min!!” Sooryun and the guys cheered and Su min gave them a smile, waving back at them

“Take care of that idiot for me!” Su min shouted back and the guys looked at Sooryun accusingly. She blinked and made a face

“Ha ha very funny guys” Sooryun said in a monotone voice and the guys chuckled.

Once Su min’s back view disappeared, the group sighed

“This is going to be a long year for all of us. I just want to graduate already” Hoseok said and Namjoon patted his back

“We’ll get through it. Besides, we still got Sooryun to give us support” Ken said and the rest nodded while Sooryun gave them a small smile

*Don’t rely on me for support guys. You’re just going to get hurt*

“So, where do you guys want to head to next? Its still early” Hongbin suggested and Sooryun glanced at her watch

*I’m supposed to be at the restaurant soon. I have to find a way to leave*

“You guys can go ahead. I have to go see my manager” Sooryun said and the guys pouted

“What is a day of hanging out without you? We need girls man or at least one girl” Ken said and Ravi knocked his head while Sooryun giggled

“You can go ahead Yunnie. If you need me to fetch you or anything, just call me okay?” Ravi said and Sooryun smiled and nodded

Jimin held onto Sooryun’s hands and pecked her cheeks. Sooryun got surprised at the sudden gesture

“Want me to send you there?” Jimin asked softly and Sooryun shook her head again, smiling softly

“I have to go get something along the way. You go and hang out with the guys okay? I’m going to be fine” Sooryun said and Jimin pouted and nodded his head

The group went to the taxi stand to send Sooryun off since she insisted she would go do her errands alone

Once they got the cab, Sooryun gave Jimin a sweet kiss on the lips and hugged him tight, like he would disappear

“What’s wrong princess? You seem worried and anxious” Jimin asked and Sooryun gave him a small smile

“Nothing, just a bit emotional. I’ll text you once I’m done okay?” Sooryun replied and Jimin nodded, pecking the crown of her forehead

“I love you Sooryun” Jimin said, sounding a little worried. Sooryun smiled and blew an aeroplane kiss to him

“I love you too Jimin”

Sooryun stopped by her workplace where she and Su min had worked for since they’ve met. The owner was their landlord too so it was really convenient for them

Besides their part-time job at a club, the occasionally work for the old lady in the morning

“Oh, my dear Sooryun you’re not supposed to work today what brings you here?” the kind old lady asked and Sooryun gave her a small, sad smile

“Granny, it’s time…” Sooryun teared, almost shocking the old lady. The only time Sooryun had ever cried was when Su min was sick

Even when the girl was bullied, threatened or even when she was telling the lady her life story, Sooryun never cried

“O-oh my. Does that mean that you’re-”

“I’m resigning, but I would like to keep the house, if that’s okay with you granny” Sooryun sniffled and the lady nodded her head

“Of course I would allow you to, as long as you pay m-”

“I want to buy the house granny, is it okay with you?” Sooryun said and the old lady almost fell out of her sit

“B-buy? Are you serious? B-but-”

“Granny, knowing my parents, they would let me keep one reasonable and small part of the deal. A house is nothing to them

Unless, you don’t want to sell it away granny?” Sooryun asked and the old lady shook her head

“I’ll be more than glad to sell you the house my dear. I’m getting old and I was planning to sell the house to you girls once you guys grew up

Guess I won’t have a problem then” the old lady smiled and Sooryun thanked her

“You’ve been caring and nice to me and Su min granny. We’ll both always remember how nice you treated us

I’ll keep in contact with you again okay granny?” Sooryun said and the old lady gave her a supporting hug

“The both of you are like granddaughters that I never had. You girls were great help and I wish that whatever you’re facing right now Yunnie

It will stop soon enough, I’ll include you in my prayers” the old lady smiled and Sooryun nodded her head

After the small talk, she heard a familiar honking sound and bid goodbye to the old lady. The old lady wished her another good luck and Sooryun left the shop

When she did, she saw Min ho in the driver’s seat, looking a little down. She smiled and entered the car

“Yunnie I’m really sorry-”

“Whatever that’s happening now is not under our control oppa. Don’t worry about it. Its my fate and I can’t change it” Sooryun muttered sadly

Min ho turned behind and held Sooryun’s hands softly. He gave her the comforting smile that he always gives her when Sooryun was still young

“You’re going to get through it okay? Don’t worry, I’ll never leave you” Min ho said comfortingly and Sooryun smiled

“You’re the only one I can ever trust sometimes oppa” Sooryun muttered and Min ho smiled
