“What?!”

“Wow, okay. Uhm, hi.”

“Don’t you ‘hi’ me! You know what time it is now?!”

“Yeah, well. I need to talk to you.”

“Why? I’m sleepy.”

I rolled my eyes at her statement. You are always sleepy, my sleeping beauty. “You know that thing you said before to me. Long time ago, about a guy liking me and I didn’t believe you.”

“Kwon Jiyong? Yeah, why?” I nearly chocked at her nonchalant tone.

“We’re starting.”

“What?! Really?!! OMG!!! Finally!! How did it happen?” OMG this girl! You are deafening me with your dolphin screams!

“Well, that’s why I’m calling you Jess. Are you up for it or not?”

“Of course!” Wow, you’re giving up your much important sleep for this, my sleeping beauty? I am honoured!

The next 2 hours, I found myself taking and laughing with her, and I told her everything, from A to Z, everything said and happened throughout my meeting with Jiyong till the point of confession and starting our relationship. And Jessica, for all those while, has been giggling like a child, her voice showing how happy she was for me. It’s always good talking to you, my greatest friend and sister from another parents.

“Finally he manned up. Took him long enough though.”

“Jess, will this be okay? I mean, we already had a lot on our plates, and now, I’m starting up something new, when all those things are still unsolved. I haven’t even told the other members yet.” I do have my fear, though. This relationship will just be a scandal and it might even tear SNSD apart. But, I want to be in love too. I’m still a normal girl craving for some loving.

“You’ll just have to make it okay then.” Wow easy for you to say. “Just stay true to yourself Tae. Everyone loves you for who you are, not for what you think you need to be. And if the true you wants to be in love, then be in love. Everything and everyone will find their own way to make things work for them too.
