Seungyeon hastily gathered her things and took one last look around her apartment just to make sure that she didn't forget something before she leaves for todays schedule. Which involved an early meeting at Yuko for new projects, fittings with her stylist and the new clothing company that she is involved with, recordings for the MV and ad campaigns that she has just finished filming, rehearsals and pre table readings with the cast of the new drama she's preparing for, a photoshoot, and fortunately dinner plans with ——oppa to make up after bailing out on him a couple of times due to her busy schedule. It was supposed to be a relief to end her busy day but with the surprise presence of an unforseen guest she couldn't help but feel uneasy on how to explain it to both parties without coming off as a sly fox. As  she quickly scanned her place while avoiding his eyes and maneuvered cautiously towards the door. Jonghyun on the other hand was following her every move and was watching her like a hawk and upon seeing that she was about to leave he finally decided to break the awkwardness of the situation and said

Goodbye! Have a good day! Work hard fighting!

Upon hearing his voice Seungyeon turned to faced him and bowed slightly whilst saying

Kahmsamnida, you too, and uhm… if you're leaving and your manager’s going to pick you up later just turn off the lights and make sure that you lock the door before you leave for good.

Jonghyun gulped upon realising that his departure is now looming over him, what happened last night, no earlier, felt that... something was still  there. That it was progress however minute, but still they were moving towards something,perhaps Seungyeon was… and he desperately tried to follow along hoping that maybe he still has his chance. And to his surprise, he couldn't help but shake the feeling off that Seungyeon was letting him follow along and that was enough for him. Even if it meant that he’d end up in places and situations that he wouldn't want to be in. Despite of his scattered thoughts Jonghyun mustered up the courage to leave a statement that would hopefully make her realise and consider letting him stay longer than she initially would want him to.

Aniii I’ll be here I’ll wait for you, after the trouble that I put you through the least that I could do is stay a bit longer, or perhaps staying for good isn't a bad idea after all you know… to clean and look after the mess that Ive caused and hopefully make an even better place out of it.

Jonghyun tried to say each word clearly hoping that this way it would convey the hidden message to Seungyeon but to his dismay this foxy lady still maintained the innocent bear within her as she left she told him not to worry about it because she has a cleaning lady that would come every 3 days. Jonghyun couldn't help but smile at the thought that she was still the girl that  he fell in love a few years back at first sight.

Seungyeon was now looking out the cars and the blurry lights that beamed through the freeway, she was exhausted but was devastatingly pretty thanks to the makeup and hair styling from the magazine photoshoot that ended a few minutes ago. Everyone at the shoot praised her for her effortless beauty and the mystery that she gave off in the pictures.After a long day she was now on her way to meet up with oppa for dinner in one of the private posh restaurants in Gagnam she was dressed in a navy military style knee length coat, black opaque tights with knee high boots to highlight her slim legs and a long-sleeved tweed mini dress and an oversized red scarf to highlight her face.Seungyeon was the picture of youthful new world elegance as she entered the restaurants foyer she was welcomed by the host and was led into one of the private rooms, she beamed upon seeing him.

Oppa its nice to finally see you in the flesh Seungyeon giggled I must admit you look better in person now or Im just probably sick of seeing you on my phones screen after doing facetime every night.

Yaaaah Seungyeonie how could you say that?! He laughed. And how could you be so cruel to me after not answering my call last night,what happened?Were you that exhausted with work? Did you rest well, I hope youre not overworking yourself Seungyeonah to the point of exhaustion.

Uhm….you could call it that...Seungyeon replied with an uneasy tone in her voice.

Why do I feel like theres a much more interesting story under that uhm?! He looked at her curiously and at the same time wore a concerned face.

Lets get wine first oppa. Seungyeon remarked with a deadpan face indicating that a serious matter was indeed at hand.

That bad huh?! Arasso! One good bottle of wine for an equally beautiful lady he said.

Seungyeon took 3 succeeding sips of red wine from her glass, while swirling it around, taking in whiffs, looking at him, and then finally she let out a deep breath and said a few words that she never imagined of saying it ever again.

Jonghyun oppa...he is BACK… I think. and he's in my house….

Upon hearing this he looked at her and it was now his turn to take in the wines whiff,swirl it around, and take in one big drink. He too let out a deep sigh and spoke.

HE IS BACK huh?! He tried to hide his bitterness but it was all over the place. Is he back to move you forward or forth? He said coldly.

What do you mean oppa? Seungyeon was now utterly confused she couldn't help but be distraught by what he said for she knew that the two things could not be less than different and at the same time be the same.

I dont know Seungyeonah but I could not help but feel odd that the word back is synonymous to his intentions or with how this entire situation would unfold once again, I guess what I'm trying to make out of this... is he back because he wants to go towards you or is it because he wants to return and make up to what was previously left behind—you. The answer to either questions would in as much bring forth a new clarity to the future that you would want yourself to be into; the latter being in nostalgia and the former an imprint, a stain that could no longer be vanished.

Seungyeon was trying to process the entire conversation at hand then oppa said something that made her realise to truly carefully think things through.

You see nostalgia Seungyeonssi is a liar. Nothing was ever as good as you remember it to be. there’s a reason you don’t talk to that person anymore, there’s a reason you’re not part of each other’s lives. Some would say that you should not trust nostalgia. Instead allow yourself to grieve. reflect. move on.

An imprint, a stain on the otherhand may seem harmless to the human eye however one should not forget that it is a mark made on and beyond the surface deeply rooted within and is fiercely difficult and impossible to remove. And in this world of ours where everything is fleeting and easily discarded should one be mundane enough to allow something so permanent exist?! To be a reminder of the mistakes that you have made, are still making, and the consequences that you would still be paying for. Is it worth it to keep it for eternity? To make that commitment for an imprint when all this time you can spare yourself from the permanence of things and the routine presence of them by allowing yourself to remain unattached, have a clean slate and be free from pain. A stain will be there forever Seungyeonah and in this cruel world of ours forevers really dont exist anymore and those that do? They leave you with nothing but memories as the people who made them walked far away. Some would say that you run while you can, run as fast as you can until everything becomes a blur until things get hazy enough for you to forget that there was even a mark forming to begin with.

Seungyeon was now buzzing both from the wine and from what has just been said. Oppa has been extremely blunt but undeniably helpful, and now Seungyeon has realized that she has to make a big decision yet again. What does she want really then? Nostalgia or a Stain? and the even bigger question is WHO does she want it with?
