Chapter 5

Key to the Heart       Marriott Hotel Seoul, South Korea    The sunlight that is passing through the window is disturbing me from my deep slumber. I try to open my heavy eyes and looks around the not so unfamiliar room. I can hear a soft snore beside me signaling that I did it again. My eyes are slowly adjusting to the light and there I see a blond haired girl sleeping beside me.   She looks like an angel but despite of her looks she's just a devious lady who, like the other girls, want to satisfy her raging hormones .    I stand up from our shared bed and starts dressing up. Our clothes are thrown everywhere I can even see her underwear in front of the door.   'Dang what a wild night.'   I drove away from the hotel not even sparing a second thought to the girl on the bed. It's always like this since I can't remember. My head is pounding heavily due to hangover. I need some good remedy.   "Good morning!", a very cheerful voice echoes throughout the cafe. "Oh Boss JiYong!"   "Hey Taemin. Give me a large cup of lemon tea.", I groggily asks him. "Where's your ugly boss?"   "I'm not sure Boss. Boss Seungri is always busy with something.", he told his staff to do my order.   "Whoa when did Seungri gets busy? Does he have a new girl?", I'm starting to regain my energy. 'I should know about this so I can tease Seungri!'   "Yes sir. A pretty one. She's a regular customer here and for all I know Boss Seungri is seriously pursuing her.", Taemin whispers at me.   I laugh out loud from what I'm hearing. The notorious playboy Seungri fell in love? That would be the most epic and tragic news ever for the girls out there.   "Come on tell me more about Taemin!", I didn't even go to the table since I prefer drinking my tea in the counter especially right now.   "Boss Ji don't tell Boss Seungri about it or else he'll kick me in the .", Taemin warns me. This guys is my best source of information if I want to tease Seungri. He keeps on telling me about the things that Seungri has been doing for that girl and everything that he's telling me is so not our maknae.   "That is so hilarious! Damn that Seungri! Thank you Taemin! I have to go now!", I bid every staff in the cafe a goodbye before driving to my work place.   Zutter Car Shop is the business that I'm really proud to show off. It's a business that was built using my own money. This is one of my dreams that have come true to life.   Everyone in the shop greeted me with enthusiasm. I maybe a playboy and an in the eyes of the others but for my staff they treat me with respect. It's the same with my true friends- they don't see me as a s*x addict and drunkard. They only see me as JiYong. The JiYong who would only takes off his fake masks in front of his true friends.     Meeting Room 1 Marina Bay Sand      It's already time for Seunghyun's meeting with the Singaporean TV producers. He went down to the meeting room together with his assistant. The room is already fully set-up with the projector in front and the members for the meeting are already seated on their chairs.   The young second heir to the business is greeted with respect by the producers. He sit at the far end of the table and beckons someone to start speaking up.   A man confidently stands up and went to the front. "Good Morning I'm Henry Lau the Junior executive producer for Media Corp.-"   He, or rather Henry, stops from talking when he sees Seunghyun signaling for him to stop. Henry looks at the young businessman and gulps. 'Did he do something wrong?'   Seunghyun beckons for Tiffany to come near him and whisper in her ear. "Why did you let them send a Junior?"   Tiffany stares at the Junior producer in front before whispering back at her boss. "Sir, I've called earlier to their office to confirm if they'll be coming and they said yes. But they didn't inform me that there's a change of person who will meet you."   Seunghyun glares back in front making Henry a bit more nervous. He signals him to continue on what he's saying. "Go talk."   Henry starts discussing about their plans on making a talent search show that will be broadcasted in Korea and Singapore. He first lay out the objectives of the show and its components. He then discussed the pros and cons of the show and their solution to this. He's already in the middle of his speaking when he noticed Seunghyun is not listening to what he's saying. He's slightly threatened with the young man's attitude but at the same time pissed off with his lack of participation in the meeting.   'Is this how Korean heir acts?'    After an hour of nonstop speaking in front, Henry finish his discussion with a nervous smile. He looks back at Seunghyun who's playing with the pen that's in his hand. The whole meeting room is in silence as they are waiting for the heir to speak up. But Seunghyun is still in his own little world.    Tiffany bravely do her part by tapping the serious guy's shoulder. He looks up at her with a glare but softens(?) when he noticed that it's Tiffany who distracted him from his own thoughts.   "Sir he's done."   Seunghyun looks at the people in the meeting with his deadly and cold stare. Everyone including the Henry looks away from him. He stands up from his seat and told them that they'll give an answer in a few days since he still needs to make a review about their reports.   As soon as he went out of the room, the tense people who's unconsciously stopping themselves from breathing heave a long exhale. They all starts chattering about the C.S Entertainment boss. They keep on talking about his cold attitude and his inattentive attitude.     KBS Building  Seoul, South Korea     It's a busy morning once again in our department. Loads of paperworks are still in my table waiting to be reviewed, a big slab of an unfinished sandwich in my right and a cup of black coffee in front of me. I haven't taken any breakfast earlier since I'll be 10 minutes late once I take it.    My eyes are focus on reading the reports in my hand when a loud bang on my table made me look up from my work. There I see a flaming short girl glaring deadly straight at my eyes.   "Oh Ms. Lee what are you doing here?", I arch my eyebrow up since I'm curious at what she's doing in front of my table.   She didn't answer me but instead throw the newspaper that she's holding right straight to my face.    'Damn this brutal girl.'   "What the heck is that!", she spitefully tells me.   I don't know what the hell she's talking about. I just look at the newspaper in my hand and my eyes almost pop out of its socket when I see the news headline and the picture in the front page.   Famous Director Lee is caught dating a Junior Producer    'Damn!'   The large printed headline is carefully place at the top of our picture. The 2 pictures that are side by side clearly shows our faces. It also looks like we are having a great time dining out together since a wide smile is plastered in our faces.   "Oh so this must be the reason why everyone looks at me with teasing eyes.", I nod my head in astonishment. Gossip surely fly out really fast.   "That isn't the problem here!", she slams her fist right at my table.    'Ouch that must have hurt.'   I look up to her with worry evident in my eyes. My table is made from hardwood and I'm sure her fingers are aching with pain.   "Are you okay?", the question suddenly slip off from my mouth.   Her eyes widen in anger and I can literally feel the heat coming from her body. "Damn you!"   She pulls my collar making me draw near to her. We are only a breath away from each other. I can see her pores right in front of my eyes making me gulp at the realization of how close we are from one another.   "Hey isn't this position a bit too intimate? Everyone's looking at us Ms. Barbarian.", I softly whisper to her.   She instantly push me away from her making me stumble back to my seat. I can see her face getting redder. I don't know if it's because of anger or embarrassment.   " You!", she grits her teeth in anger. "Clean this mess up or you'll be doomed in hell!"   She clench her fist in anger before turning her back away from me. I can see her walking faster away from our office and everyone's eyes are focus at her.   I lean my body against the chair and look at the ceiling. Why does she hate me this much? Isn't it supposed to be me that should hate her? She was the one who left me alone without giving any reasonable excuse.   'Lee Sunny what did I do?'     Oscar Restaurant  Gangnam, South Korea     I don't know what I'm doing here, in this lovely afternoon, in this restaurant with my best buddies. This time of the day is when I should be hanging out in my cafe while looking out at the people who's happily sipping the cup of coffee that my baristas have prepared and eating a piece of pastry that's specially baked by our pastry chef. But most specially this is the time when that Ms. Choi -snobby-pretty-rude-y-stubborn- Seohyun will be visiting my cafe shop for a cup of her favorite Roasted Black Milk Tea and a plate of blueberry tart.   Then back to reality, here I am sitting with this pathetic guys who forcefully takes me to this group mix up date. The guys said that the college girls from the still unknown to me school won't be coming to this date unless I'll be joining them.   I look up at my watch and notice that we've been waiting at the restaurant for almost half an hour.    "I have to go!", I stand up from my seat but Minhyuk pulls my arm and made me seat back again.   "No! Please let's just wait for a bit longer.", he looks at me with begging eyes.   "Hey Seungri what's up with you lately? You are not seen hanging out with the campus girls nor joining us in the mix up dates. Don't tell me you're in a relationship right now?", the talkative Soohyun asks me.   "Me? In a relationship? Don't be ridiculous.", I roll my eyes at the path
