We took a cab to the hospital, since Jungkook is too unstable to drive.

He held on to my hand the whole time in the cab, because his was turning cold, and I could feel it trembling.

As soon as we got out of the cab, Jungkook immediately held my hand again as he scurriedly walked to the counter.

My heart didn't skip a beat, but instead, cried for him. He needed to hold on to me, to feel more secure. He needed someone to be beside him. 

"You called me just now, about my father....."

He trailed off, unable to finish the sentence.

"May I know what is your name?" The nurse asked.

"Jeon Jungkook."

The nurse nodded and went to pick up the phone.

I looked at Jungkook worriedly.

He... looks like he's about to break down...

The nurse placed her phone down and looked towards us.

"A doctor is on his way to assist you. Please wait a moment."

After a few minutes, a doctor walked towards us and greeted.

"Hello, I was the one who called you to inform you about the victim. May the two of you follow me please?"

We followed the doctor up to a secluded room and sat down.

Both of us sat opposite of the doctor.

"By the way, call me Dr.Lee for the time being." He said and placed both of his hands on the table.

The whole room went silent, and the sound of breathing is thundering.

"About your father... yeah, I already told you on the phone-"

"Mmm. Yes. I know." Jungkook nodded and quickly cut him off.

"Would you need some counselling? Perhaps to help you if you need it?" Dr.Lee continued.

Jungkook's hand tightened around mine and I looked at the doctor.

"Sorry, I don't think he needs it. It wouldn't help." I spoke on his behalf.

That's right. Counselling would never help to deal with the grief of the loss. It would only add more burden.

"Alright... about the victim, a test had shown that at the time of the accident, he was heavily intoxicated. He had high alcohol content inside of his body."

Jungkook simply nodded and looked down on the table.

"He was hit by a speeding car. There was a huge impact on his back, as well as his neck. When the ambulance had arrived, he was pronounced dead on the scene."
