Jimin texted me soon after Jungkook and I settled down.

Jimin:

See? Told ya.

Na Eun:

Yeah... I kind of knew it...

Jimin:

Haha... Anyways I have some good new about your new job. My client is coming over in 2 days. You think you can make it? It's a good pay by the way~

Na Eun:

... I can make it. Sorry that we left abruptly just now though.

Jimin:

No no it's alright. Talk to you later, got to go for my meeting :)

I shrugged and ended the conversation.

As soon as I placed my phone down on the table, it vibrated again.

I looked at the caller ID, and realised it was the landlady.

"Hello?" I spoke.

"Hello? Na Eun ah, you said you wanted to meet me, I'm already down your street. Where are you?"

I paused for a moment before realising I made an appointment to meet her.

"Oh god I am so sorry Mrs Kang... I'll be there right away."

I ended the line and rushed out.

I had totally forgotten that I wanted to meet her to discuss about Jungkook's house.

"Ugh... why am I so forgetful."

I thank the god that the landlady was patient enough to wait for me, and even gave me a warm smile when I approached her.

"Here are the keys. But... what happened to Jungkook? He forgot that he already owned the house?"

I hesitated for a moment before explaining to her every event that happened, not missing out any single details.

The landlady seemed stunned and shocked, probably a little but confused after I explained everything to her.

"Oh my, tell him to take care of himself alright? Here, give him this. He needs to pay the bills. Water and elcetricity will only be available tomorrow morning." She smiled and handed me a piece of paper.

I bowed and waved goodbye, running back home.

As I opened the door and went in, the first thing I saw was Jungkook lying on the couch and reading a book that he took from the shelf.

"Oh? You're back. I saw you running out just now. What happened?" He put down his book and sat up.

I walked towards the couch and sat down beside him.

"Ta-dah!" I jingled the keys in front of him.

Instantly, his eyes lit up and slowly took the keys from me.

"What's this? Is this..."

"It's the key to your new house. I spoke to the landlady just now."

He looked at me and smiled, ruffling my hair.

I froze in my position and a felt a sudden rush of bloodflow around my body.

"Thank you."

I snapped myself out and handed him the piece of paper.

"Here are the payments you need to make. The house is not really ready yet because water and electricity would only be available tomkrrow morning."

"So I could move in by tomorrow?" He asked as he took a look at the paper.

"Yes you can."

He looked at the paper for a moment, then looked at me.
