I looked in the direction to where Jungkook was staring at.

A... beggar?

I walked back to him and nudged him.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at him like that..?"

Jungkook looked at me for a moment before looking back at the beggar.

"I need to go to him for a moment." He said and shoved me the remaining bags of plastic bag into my hand.

"W..wait!"

I caught up to him, as he looked down to the beggar, who is busy munching his food. To be exact, dirty food, possibly from the garbage.

"What on earth are you doing." Jungkook asked the beggar in a serious tone.

The beggar looked up to both Jungkook and I, and immediately widened his eyes.

"I asked you a question." Jungkook spoke again.

The beggar slowly got up, and looked at Jungkook.

Wait, now that I have gotten a closer look, this beggar looked so familiar....

"Jungkook ah."

"Why are you here eating this ! What on earth happened to you?!" Jungkook shook the shoulders of the beggar.

"He kicked me out, confiscated every of my item and ... I have nothing left..."

Jungkook stayed silent and released his hands from the shoulders.

"Jungkook ah... I'm so sorry... I'm very sorry."

Jungkook didn't reply and instead took out his wallet and gave all of his cash to the beggar.

"Buy warm clothings and EDIBLE food." 

After that, he pulled me along with him and dragged me all the way to the car.

The car ride is once again silent. Jungkook seemed to have been agitated, as I could hear him breathe heavily from time to time.

"Are you... alright?" I asked.

He simply nodded and sighed.

"Who is that man? He seemed to-"

"He's my father."

That's it. That is the reason why I found him familiar. But I always have seen his father as someone who had everything in the
