Chapter 40: Greeting
Can you?-Na Eun pov-
My eyes widened and immeidately called Jimin.
He answered almost immediately.
"Why? Excited to see me?" Jimin chuckled.
"Yah, why didn't you tell me that you were coming earlier?"
"That's why I texted you a surprise... but I needed to come here anyway. Didn't you ask me to help Jungkook?"
Oh yeah.. I forgot.
"Yeah... you can help him?"
"I only agreed because of you. Who wants to help that bastard." Jimin scoffed.
"Where are you? Are you coming home?"
"Nope, I'm staying in a hotel suite. I'm coming over to you though. Could I meet you outside your house?"
"Sure! Are you on your way?"
"I'm driving to your street. I'll reach in one minute."
"Okay! I'll be there."
I ended the call and went outside my house.
A white car drove in and parked right outside my house.
I silently anticipated the figure inside the car.
After a few moments, the car door opened and Jimin stepped out of the car, closing the door and placed both of his hands inside his outer coat pocket.
I froze there and took in what I was seeing.
Jimin changed a lot. He grew taller, his looks more mature and refined, and his hair is totally black like Jungkook's.
I tried to stop myself from crying out of happiness, I was just too happy seeing someone I missed so damn much.
"Hello Na Eun." Jimin smiled.
I ran to his arms and hugged him tight.
"I missed you so much Jimin."
Jimin pat my back and ruffled my hair.
"Ah... feels so good to see you again."
We just stood there and stared into each other's eyes, smiling, holding both of our hands.
"How's your job? I heard Chanmi's the one who took over your company after Jungkook got fired."
My smile died and I groaned.
"I decided to quit. I don't want to work as her personal secretary, never."
Jimin laughed and shook his head.
"Knew it." He said.
"Are you staying here for long?"
"Kinda, had some business to finish here and you asked me to help Jungkook." Jimin nodded.
"So... you said you will help Jungkook?"
Jimin looked away and hollowed his cheeks.
"Maybe? I can help him. But, the feelings must be mutual." He smiled.
"What? Feelings must be mutual? What does that mean?"
"It means that Jungkook must allow me to help him, and he must gladly accept that I WILL help him."
I raised my eyebrows.
"If you said you would help him, wouldn't he agree?"
Jimin let go of my hands and walked to his car.
"This is not the first time you know him. He is that stubborn and stupid. If I offer to help him get the shares back, and get his position in that company again, he would reject immediately. Believe me?"
What Jimin said was right. Jungkook IS that stubborn.
"Then... what am I going to do?"
Jimin shrugged.
"Do nothing. There
