"You are my friend." He said.

I smiled. I'm one step above now. We're no longer strangers.

"He took 70 percent of the shares, you still have 30 percent right?" I asked.

He nodded.

"But that is not enough for me to gain my position again."

"I can help you. I know someone who can help you."

Even though to be very honest, they might not be on good terms.

Jungkook looked at me and shook his head.

"You don't have to help me."

"No. You must get the company back in your control. It really can't be ruined just like this."

"There is no way, my 30 percent, could overpower his 70 percent." He said, clearly annoyed.

"That is why, I said I could help you."

He's still the same. As stubborn as before. 

"Just trust me." I stated.

He shrugged and sat back, "We'll just see. Thanks anyway."

I smiled and nodded.

"What are you going to do now? Now you know you just lost the company, and your position.."

"Now? Just enjoy my freedom." He said.

Freedom. Is that what he had been yearning for? Is that why hes especially in a good mood today, because he just had freedom?

"Ever since I got into an accident, I became so confused." He continued.

An accident...

My mind suddenly awoked and continued to listen.

"The first person I saw... Chanmi, she said she's my girlfriend, and that we loved each other. Why am i starting to doubt that now? Then my father, who immediately treated me as his trash. Taking away my freedom, making me manage his stupid company." He laughed, finding it absurd.

I swallowed back the lump formed in my throat. 

For the past 2 years not knowing where he had went, this is what he had been going through.

"And my memory, is just a blurred out vision. Whenever I tried to remember something, it hurts so much."

It is because, it really did hurt you so much. That's why you chose to forget them, instead of living with the pain.

"Sometimes I wonder how my past looked like? And if I could ever remember them."  He sighed.

I looked away and tried my best to keep my tears intact, and not let a single drop fall.

"Hey, remember when we first met?" He suddenly asked.

"When I came to work on the first day?" I asked.
