I took out bottles of beer and soju from the fridge and placed them all in front of me and Jungkook.

"To all the sorrows, may they disappear just for tonight." I chanted as I opened up a bottle and poured some into both of our shot glasses.

I lifted them up and Jungkook did the same.

"Cheers." I smiled.

Jungkook smiled weakly.

"Cheers." And he downed the shot.

It was just like that day at the bar, Jungkook being the one repeatedly drinking.

"Woah, chill out. I'm drinking too."

Hmm? Something's weird.

Jungkook seemed to be keeping quiet, and only downed in more shots.

In the end, I ended up stopping, just to observe him.

And after three more shots, that's it.

Jungkook placed the glass down and drooped his head down.

I stared at him for a brief second, and that was when I finally realised,

He broke down.

Jungkook cried.

"Whats wrong?" I called out and stood up, walking to him.

It started with a single sniff, then a teardrop, followed by a sudden downpour.

I sat down beside him.

"What's wrong?" I pat his back.

"I don't know. I always up."

He dug his hands into his hair and sobbed.

"I'm sorry..."

He mumbled before wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Hey-"

"I'm so sorry..." he tightened.

I released my grip and let him have his way.

Why? Is it because of his father? Or... he remembered something about us?

Screw it, it doesn't matter.

I lay him down on the floor before lying beside him. 

Wiping away his streaks of tears on his face, I sighed and closed my eyes.

The next morning, I stirred from the sudden ache on my back and sat up.

I looked around to remember what I forgot.

When I finally remembered what happened last night, I frantically stood up and looked around for Jungkook.

"Oh, you're awake." A voice called out.

I looked towards the kitchen, only to see Jungkook spreading some jam on toasts.

"I cleaned the table out and took out all the used bottles, so do not worry." Jungkook stated.
