I got off the chair and opened the door.

It has been such a long time since I have gone home.

Well, I just need to take another set of my change of clothes that's all.

I pressed the lift button and waited, my hands inside my pocket.

My eyes unknowingly wandered off to the direction of her desk.

"She must have gone home already. I'll use that excuse to fire her." I smirked.

Just like the others, most of them went off without my permission.

I walked to her desk to check up on her.

But...

She's still there.

My eyes widened and my jaw almost dropped.

It's already past midnight... and she's still here?

I cleared my throat and walked towards her, avoiding looking at her.

"Hey, go home." I said.

I waited for response, but it didn't came.

"Are you deaf?" I asked, annoyed and looked down at her.

I shut my mouth the moment I realised she had her head down and her eyes closed.

Sighing, I tried to soften a little and bend down to her head.

Realising what am I doing, I quickly stand up and fixed my hair.

"What on earth am I doing...." I whispered.

I turned around and walked back to the lift.

"You chose to spend the night here, not me."

I got off my car and went inside my house.

"Welcome back, master." The maids bowed and greeted me as I ignored them.

"Oh? Why are you back?" I hear my father in a distance.

I ignored him and went straight to my room.

Just as I knew it, my father came in after me.

"We still have some leftovers... do you want me to-"

"Shut up." I glared at him as I threw my coat on the floor.

Like always, he gave me that look of pity.

You shouldn't have gave me that smug look on your face the first time I met you.

You shouldn't have gave me all those work, as if I am your slave.

It's really too late.

I continued to put my clothes into the bag.

"Dinner is on the table if you ever want it." He said as he left.
