as i walked closer to them.
"nothing" i replied.
"She got herself into an accident in the cafeteria" Elaine Informed.
"What kind of aci--"
"MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!"
Jeongmin yelled as he stormed his way out of the school.
"What's wrong with him!?!?" asked minwoo "and what's on his shirt!!?"
Elaine just gave me a sad look.
I took in a deep breath and let it all out.
"I accidently tripped and my food flew onto him."
Everyone went silent.
'i seriously want this day to end.'

I attend all my other classes and no one talked to me, they just stared.
I was now known as "the stupid newbie girl"
When dissmisal came i rushed out of the classroom.
My unnie came to pick me up, so when i walked towards her.
"Oh my, you look awful what happend?!" she asked.
" Just didn't have a good day at school today."
Then i saw someone behind her......
"Oh..!" i said with SOME enthusiasm
My unnie chuckled.
"Layla this is hyunseong, Hyunseong this is Layla"
"Nice to meet you" i bowed.
"Nice to meet you too!" he said.
But get this...HES SO TALL!
...well actually everyone was pretty tall....
I'm only 5'0.
I gazed up at him.....
"well come on lets go Layla!"
Then the 3 of us walked home.

"I'm going to my room." i said.
So as i walk up the stairs.
"Hyunseong can you wait a moment, i need to check on her."
Hyunseong nodded.
She gave him a smile and walked upstairs as well.
*knock knock* "Layla can i come in"
Instead of answering i go open the door myself, and just flop on the bed, faceforward.
"So tell me, what happend at school today?"
"nothing..."
"there has to be something! Come on tell me what happend?"

I sighed and told her the whole thing.
She looked at me.......with a concerned look, but then
"maybe he likes you."
'okay you can stop right there Unnie'
"how the heck do you come to that conclusion!??!"
"Well havent you heard? IF a boy like messes with you or be mean to you, that means they like you!"
"Oh...so hyunseong is mean to you?"
"Now thats a different story.....hes....different."
She smiled brightley.
"unnie go on."
"huh?"
"Go ahead, you have a date to attend to neh? Ill be fine home."
"you su--"
"yes yes yes! now go on! Have fun!"
"Okay well call me if you need anyt--"
I push her out and close the door.
'Oh unnie, just go and have some fun! No need to worry about me.'
She walks back down stairs.
"sorry about that....just school troubles."
"Oh its alright! Haha your not the only one."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, today my brother had some girl spill food all over his shirt, hes not to happy about it."

Catherine said in her mind.
"oh wait i don't recall you ever mentioning a brother?"
"Oh well yeah i do, he goes to the same school as Layla, His name is Jeongmin. Great kid....just has
some minor anger issues."
'minor? he yelled at my sister to GET OUT'
"Anger issues? Oh we get angry at times haha......."
"Yeah"
"Well um lets head on out..."

Meanwhile while i'm stuck at home, i managed to get everyone's phone number throughout the day.
But i got LOADS of text messages after school
"Layla are you okay?!"
Was from jenny.
"Layla its gonna be okay, It's jeongmin, hes like that at times!"
From Elaine.
"You okay?"
from Minwoo.
"Its gonna be alright were here!"
both from kwangmin and youngmin.
I didn't cry, i laughed actually.
It was really sweet to have seen them be so concerned eventho they just met me.
As i replied to all messages i got one more.
"Hey! Hows it going? How was your first day of school? -chaejin"
I replied.
"Good! :) kinda....how about you?"
*zzzzzzzzzzzzzz*
"It's been okay, so lonely without you! We all miss you!"
I simply smiled...to hide my yearn to see my friends again.
"Ah as soon as i get on break im gonna go visit you guys asap!"
then he texted back...
"We'll be waiting! ;)"
And that was the end of our little conversation.
I didn't realize it but.....it was getting late.

Unnie didn't seem to be comming back anytime soon...so
i cooked myself something up!
.......Ramen noodles.
I sat down, the tv and began to eat!
No channel seemed to satisfy me....until i stumbled upon MTVK.
They were showing the one and only...
SHINee!
"KYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
i screamed!
..okay i have a huge crush on Jonghyun and Key...
Taemin is cute, Onew is cute, Minho is hot.
..Yeah i'm a shawol!
So when they were playing Lucifer....
I got up and started dancing and singing along!!!
I turned up the volume ...and started jamming out.
I guessed i turned it up too loud because i didn't even know...
my unnie and hyunseong oppa walked in.
"OH LUCIFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
i lastly sang.
I turned around all happy ...until i found both unnie and oppa GRINNING.
when they saw my reaction they bursted out LAUGHING.
Embarassed my face blew up red.
"AHAHAHAHA OH MY LAYLA!" my unnie cried.
"HAHAHAHA oh wow how cute!" Hyunseong added.
'why me...........'
So i just brush it off, hey at least i had fun right?
I winked at my sister and walked back upstairs.
leaving both of them alone.
"I had a great time hyunseong!"
"Me too!"
i didnt...actually LEAVE them....more like....pretend to go upstairs and listen in on the whole thing on the staircase!
"we should do this again" hyunseong said smiling.
"yeah we should!" she said smiling back.
"Catherine......"
"yes?"
He closed his eyes and decided to lean in.
My mouth dropped...but i started to grip the stair stans.....i was anxious!
She PERFECTLY understood what was gonna happen.
she closed her eyes as well
and .....
there, ...............both of theirs lips join in a warm embrace.
'AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THEY KISSSED!'
I kinda silently screamed
As soon as they were done hyunseong had to go.
"Sorry i gotta go, but i'd really love to take you out again! Are you free this saturday?"
"Yeah!"
"haha alright i'll see you then!"
As he left, he gave her another sweet kiss, on the cheek.
when the door closed.
My unnie let out her joy.
"THIS IS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I came down runnning to join her little celebration!
"IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" i screamed
"KYAHHHH this is amazing!"
we hugged.
I asked her how her date was. She said they went to this fancy resturaunt and then they walked in the park.
They held hands and everything.
' jeez why can't i get a man like that?'
"thats so cute!"
"i know right?!?! This night was absolutely perfect!"
I smiled at her happiness, her happiness is my happiness.

After her magical kiss or should i say magical KISSSES she went to get ready for bed.
I cleaned up my ramen mess and started to put on my Pj's.

....yeah i wear Ducky Pj's got a problem with that!??!
As i was in bed, i looked over my textbooks, trying to at least study SOMEWHAT of it.
But...i fell asleep.

Tuesday.....ahh this week is going by so slow.
First i started off bad, i just had some small hope that it will all turn out well by the
end of the week.
I decided to walk alone this morning.
As i arrived at the school
I grew some confidence and walked in there with my head held up high!
"Layla!!!!" Elaine called out.
"Hi!"
She hugged me.
"you okay?!!"
"Yes im fine!" i smiled
she smiled back and we walked to the group...
but....i saw someone whom i havent met yet.
She was beautiful just like Elaine and Jenny
...except she was a little taller than me.
I flashed her a small smile.
"Oh! Layla this is Anita! Anita this is Layla!"
She bowed and greeted me.
"nice to meet you!" i said.
As we all chatted away we chuckled and decided to make plans!
"Hey we should all go watch a movie!" Elaine insisted.
"yeah we should!" youngmin agreed.
I started to notice something...
"Naw! How about we show Layla around!!! Since shes new!" Jenny said.
"YEAH!!!!!!!!" they all agreed.
yep..there it was.
I noticed Elaine starring at youngmin alot...
yep she likes him!
i also noticed Anita starring at minwoo, and minwoo starring back.
Same with Jenny and Kwangmin!
Oh geez....so many couples......how sweet.
I feel like such a loner...

As the bell rang to go inside
I got a text from Chaejin again.
"we should webcam tonight!"
"we should!" i texted back "well gtg now, i have skool to attend! TTYL chaejin!"
As i was walking up the steps someone pulled me back.

"What the!?!" i yelled
she pushed me to the wall
"LOOK you pathetic lowlife, stay away from MY MAN!"
She made sure i would by pointing her cheap nail at me.

i just facepalmed my face right there.
"Dont worry, i will."
"Good, cause if i catch you with him, i'll make your life a living hell."
She walked away.

I had no time class was about to start!
I ran inside and to my science class.
just as i stepped in

phew i was safe.
"Miss Wu can you kindly take your seat now" Ms.Park asked.
"sorry.." i said scratching my head.
I went to go to my seat...
my seat next to him....
As i walked by he gave me a glare.
'ughhhh i hate having enemies...i usually sometimes get along with people.........sometimes...'
I could tell he didnt like me...
but i tried to befriend him anyway.
As more time elapsed into the period
i tried to start a convo with jeongmin.
"looks like we got off to a bad start.....Hi my name is Layla"
I know i know..stupid to even attempt to talk to him after all ive done to him but if hes my partner....I DONT WANT US TO HAVE BAD VIBES!
He looks and me and just didnt respond.
"so um...... -i sighed- look Jeongmin i'm really sorry for doing those things to you....im just really clumsy and--"
"yeah yeah yeah whatever, just hush up got it? theres ten minutes left in class and i don't want to hear your voice
any more Okay?"
He rolled his eyes and faced the front.
being a sad pathetic person i just sit back and took out my notebook.
and started doodling...
I drew some donuts.
i don't know if i was dreaming or not but i think i saw jeongmin looking over at me.
i think i saw him ...smile too?
Okay now im just being crazy.

When it was lunch time, i made SURE that i wasnt gonna trip and that i WASNT gonna spill any food!
As i got my lunch i walked with Elaine outside to eat with the rest of my friends.
I ate a little bit, but then i got a call from Unnie.
"guys ill be right back i gotta take this call"
As im walking around i decided to go to the side of the school.
"Layla i won't be back home til 10, i'm gonna stay back and study a bit with hyunseong okay?"
As im chatting away....

"what are you talking about bro? Hee Young is 100% pure PERFECTION" Jeongmin's friend added.
"Pshh that is crazy, she's been chasing me for years"

"Well i don't like her. so i guess it is possible."

"I want a girl who's out going and independent, theres no chicks like that here. their all so weak and scared,
they cant even speak right, they all MUMBLE whenever i'm around."
meanwhile, while Jeongmin ranted on about his ideal types.
"YOU can Do it, just go ask him!"
These girls pushed their friend towards Jeongmin's group.
As she went up to him.
"Um ex-excuse me je-jeong--m-min.....can i speak with you for a m-m-inute.."
Jeongmin got up and followed her.

i shut my phone off and then i heard something.
"Jeongmin....i like you....i really like you....."
Jeongmin smirked at her.

the girl started to cry, and she ran off.
THAT DOES IT!
I stormmed towards him.
Pushing him with all my might.
I was angry and when im angry...i just do stuff without thinking.
"LOOK YOU, YOU JERK, I DONT KNOW WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE BUT YOUR NO BETTER THAN US!
YOU GO TO THIS SAME SCHOOL JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, AND IF YOU THINK YOUR ALL THAT, THINK AGAIN!
I MAY BE NEW, BUT I DON'T CARE IF IM STANDING UP TO THE MOST FRIGGIN POPULAREST GUY AT THIS SCHOOL!
YOU THINK YOUR HANDSOME BUT YOUR NOT, YOUR THE MOST HIDIOUS PERSON IVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!
I CANT BELIEVE I TRIED BEFRIENDING YOU, YOUR JUST A DOUCHE BAG!!!!"
i didnt notice but everyone crowded around us.
jeongmin didnt say anything...he was shocked...
i was too.
The girl crying ...stopped.
Jaws dropped
everyone already whispering ans gossiping.
Ms.Park walked towards both of us.
"MISS WU AND MR.LEE JEONGMIN SINCE YOU WANT TO PUT ON A SHOW, YOU CAN DO SO IN DETENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
