"Gosh, why is my dad so strict." Elaine mumbled on her way to school.
"Kakaw kakaw kakaw!" A terrible impersonation of a bird, slipped into Elaine's ear as she walked passed a
line of bushes.
Elaine stopped, half scared, she continued walking on with a nervous expression on her face.
"Boo" A voice called out as it popped out from one of the bushes.
"AHH!!!" Elaine yelped.
"Haha, awww i'm sorry!" Youngmin said as he hugged her.
"Pabo!! Gosh don't ever do that again!........Oh and i'm sorry but you at bird calls." Elaine hugged back.
Youngmin just chuckled and took her hand, the both of them walked to school.

"So, why did your dad say that to me?" Youngmin asked to break the silence.
"He said, because of you, my grades aren't doing so well."
"What! Oh my gosh! Elaine i'm sorry! I'm a bad boyf--"
"NO! It's not your fault, it's mine, it's just, i can't take enough interest into the subject if it doesn't amuse me. My grades
aren't that bad, i don't know why my dad be tripping...."
Youngmin put on a smile and leaned in to kiss her forehead...
when....
"AH HAH!!!" Elaine's dad popped out of the bushes wearing a camo suit, covered in leaves, and even his face was painted
to even blend in.
"AHHHHHHH!" Both Elaine and Youngmin screamed.
"DAD, what are you doing!"
"I told you to stay away from him!! But you disobeyed! Now you're so gonna be grounded when you get home!"
"But why are, how did you, when, what, you---that camo suit..!"
"Oh, i knew if i didn't follow you, you'd probably meet up with him and walk to school together and what not! What do you take me
for, an idiot!?"
Youngmin kinda observed Elaine's father from head to toe, giving out his answer to the question.
"Go away! Stay away from my daughter!" He yelled, towards Youngmin.
Before Youngmin went, he gave Elaine a sad look, then bowed to Elaine's father.
As soon as Youngmin left the scene, Elaine was red, and boiling mad.
"Dad, i told you before, it's not his fault! It's mine! Look at yourself! You look ridiculous!"
"I don't care! You disobeyed me! This is for your own good Elaine!"
"No it's not dad! It's because you don't trust me! Dad, i love him!"
Elaine's dad, didn't enjoy those words.
"Elaine, and i love you. That's why i'm protecting you! Don't say love, unless you understand what it means."
"I know what it means dad! He loves me too! He cares for me and--"
"My word is final, you're never to see him again."
"Now i see why mom left!" Elaine yelled.
Her dad felt hurt.......
"Elaine, stop it now! I said to not see him ever again, now just accept it!"
Elaine's hands balled into a fist.
"Oh yeah? Well he goes to my school, and you can't stop me there! Afterschool, me and him can runaway! I don't care what you say dad!
I love him and he loves me! You can't keep us apart!"
"You will do no such thing! You're acting like a 3 year old! Grow up! " Her dads tone of voice was scary.
Elaine started to tear up.
The school bell rung.
Elaine's father heard and told her to go to school and that they would discuss it later.
"I'll go, but just know this......." she turned back to look at him. "I hate you dad."
Then Elaine trailed off.
Her dad stood there, hurt, and a pain forming in his chest.
A grown man wasn't suppose to cry, but how would you feel, if your daughter told you, she hated you?
He then sadly went back home, dragging his camo suit and his leaves.

"Alright now, today is the test! Ha ha ha, how many punks am i gonna fail today? Just kidding, do your best everyone." Ms.Park said
as she passed out the test packets.
As she placed the packet on my desk, i look at it as if it was a life or death button.
I then took a deep breath and started to pick up my pencil.
But i was shaking.
Jeongmin didn't feel nervous at all!
He could feel me shaking so he turned to me and said.
"Shaking isn't gonna help you concentrate you noob!"
I pouted and opened up the booklet.
In the corner of his eye, he looked at me and began to open up his packet as well, and for one last time told me.
"Just do your best." he said in a whisper tone this time.
My face turned red, recalling what happend in the kitchen.
Now i was nervous for another reason besides the test.
But i snapped out of it and began to take on the test!
'You can do this Layla! You got this! Okay,..first question!.........................................Holy crap what is this!'

"Alright pencils down! Times up!" Ms.Park started to walk around and collect up the tests.
I sat back in my chair relieved that it was finally over!
Then i turned to Jeongmin who was sleeping.
"Jeongmin!" I whispered. I tried calling his name a few more times but, still, no answer.
I finally started to shake him up. Then he finally woke up.
"Yah! I was sleeping good!" He said.
"Well, class is almost over anyways, you can sleep in your other classes."
He smirked and stetched his arms up.
I smiled a little.
When Ms.Park collected our tests, i turned to him, and said.
"Thanks..."
"For what?"
My heart started to beat faster.
"For......helping me out."
"Eh, if i didn't then your sister would kick you out. Then, who would i have to bully around and call bad names." He sneered.
My mouthed formed into an "O"
I thought we were having a good friendship moment here?!
When the bell rang everyone quickly ran out the door.
Jeongmin casually walked towards the door, but Ms.Park stopped him.
"Ah, Mr.Lee, congradulations, you got a 100% on your test."
Jeongmin thanked her and walked out.
I ran up to her asking my score, she said.
"You failed."
I was about to break down, but she laughed and told me my real score.
.......
I then ran out into the hallway.
"I GOT A B!!!! WOOO I GOT A B!!! BEAT THAT AS!!! LAYLA LIVES TODAY!!!"
Ms.Park just face palmed.

"Layla!" Hee Young called out.
I turned around, and tried to pull off a smile.
"Hmm?" i asked.
"For Sunday, wear something pretty okay. Wear a dress."
My brain was fried, i had no idea why she is telling me this.
"HELLO, party at my house!"
"Ohhhhhhhhh, yeah that's right. Don't worry i will."
"Good! Now, lets go to lunch i'm starving!"
Hee Young dragged me with her.
As i sat with Hee Young's group, i couldn't help but take a glance outside at Jenny, Kwangmin, Youngmin, Elaine, Anita, and Kwangmin.
I sighed and looked at my food.
"Whats wrong Layla?" Bora asked.
"Nothing......"
"Nope! You got to tell us!" Bora smiled.
"Is it about a boy?" Hee Young said, getting more interested in the conversation.
I shook my head, but then..
"You!" Jin called out walking towards me. "Come with me!"
He grabbed ahold of my wrist and dragged me into the hallways outside of the cafeteria.
"Wh-what!" I asked, pulling away from his grasp.
"Wheres my hoodie?" He said with crossed arms.
'Oh crap!'
"Opps. sorry! I'll bring it tomorrow!"
He facepalmed.
"Tomorrow is saturday pabo!" As he pushed my forehead with his finger.
"Oh yeah........don't worry i can give it to you mon---"
"Nope, it has to be today."
"Bu---"
"How about this, you bring me my hoodie afterschool, but at a resturaunt."
I tilted my head.
"Does it have to be today?" i whined.
"Yep! You get to buy me lunch. That's your punishment for forgetting!" He smiled.
"Wh---But i..."
He reached into my pocket and took out my phone.
"What are you--"
"I'll text you the resturaunt" he said as he put in his number and got my number.
I snatched back my phone. My face was all red.
"Don't be late for our date now!" He sneered and winked as he ran off.
I stood there..........for a good 6 seconds.
'D-d-DATE?!'
