“So Ra, wake up,” Jung Su kissed on So Ra’s forehead.

“Morning, oppa,” So Ra opened her eyes and smiled at Jung Su.

“We are going to the hospital today for your check-up,” Jung Su reminded her.

“Araso,” So Ra sat up from the bed, the pyjama she is wearing showed her baby bump.

They are married from seven months. So Ra first found out that she is pregnant four months ago, after they came back from a holiday in Bali. Now, she is in the fifth month of her pregnancy.

After getting changed and ate the breakfast prepared by Jung Su, the couple headed off to the hospital. The check-up went on smoothly. They came to a restaurant to have lunch after the check-up ended. So Ra’s appetite has increased since she is pregnant. Instead of the normal two people’s meal, they ordered dishes for three people.

“Where do you want to go after this?” Jung Su asked So Ra.

“Drop me off at Reveramess. A client is meeting me today,” So Ra told him.

Jung Su sent So Ra to Reveramess. He reminded her not to do heavy works before he drove to the café. When Hyo Lyn walked into Reveramess, So Ra was sitting on the sofa while talking to one of her employees. So Ra smiled and waved at Hyo Lyn when she saw her.

“How’s our future mommy coping?” Hyo Lyn asked So Ra.

“I’m fine,” So Ra smiled while replying Hyo Lyn’s question. “Where’s your son?”

“His father is taking care of him at home,” Hyo Lyn gave birth to a baby boy three months ago. She thought that her baby will be a girl but turned out to be a baby boy. No doubt, the arrival of the baby boy brought smiles on her in-laws and her parents’ face. “Did you ask the doctor about the baby’s gender?”

“No. Jung Su oppa and I didn’t want to know the gender beforehand,” So Ra caressed her bump gently.

“Then do you want a son or a daughter?” Hyo Lyn asked.

“I prefer to have a son but oppa prefers to have a daughter,” So Ra told her.

“Then have both of you decide on the baby’s name?” Hyo Lyn asked her.

“No. Isn’t it too fast to decide it now?” So Ra asked.

The two best friends chatted for hours about raising babies. Their conversation finally came to an end when Jung Su came to Reveramess to pick up his wife.

“I’m returning your wife to you,” Hyo Lyn jokingly told Jung Su when she saw him walking into the shop.

“Komawo,” Jung Su placed his arm around So Ra’s waist.

“Do you want us to send you back?” So Ra asked Hyo Lyn.

“No. I’m driving today,” Hyo Lyn replied her. “Bye.”

“Bye,” The couple responded.

As the date for So Ra’s delivery is getting nearer, Jung Su stopped going to the café and stayed at home with So Ra. So Ra started to feel pain when it is nearly midnight.

“Oppa,” So Ra grabbed onto Jung Su who is sleeping beside her.

“What’s wrong?” Jung Su asked.

“I’m delivering soon,” So Ra started to sweat as the pain filled her.

Jung Su quickly grabbed his car key and carried So Ra into the car. So Ra was pushed into the delivery room as soon as they reached the hospital. Jung Su waited anxiously outside the room. He didn’t know how long has it been until he heard the cries of his new-born baby. A nurse carried the baby out from the room.

“How’s my wife doing?” Jung Su asked.

“She’s fine,” The nurse smiled at Jung Su. “And congratulation, it’s a baby girl.”

Only then, Jung Su has his attention on the baby the nurse is carrying. The baby is sleeping in the nurse’s arms.

“Do you want to carry her?” The nurse asked.

“Can I?” Jung Su asked her.

The nurse told Jung Su the correct way to carry the baby. Meanwhile, So Ra is sent into the mother’s ward. Jung Su sat down on her bedside and placed the baby beside her.

“So Ra ah, she’s our daughter,” Jung Su caressed So Ra’s face.

“She’s pretty,” So Ra smiled at Jung Su.

“Why don’t you decide our baby’s name?” Jung Su suggested.

“Park So Jung,” So Ra told him.

“Park So Jung, annyong,” Jung Su waved his hand at their little princess.

The arrival of Park So Jung is welcomed by Jung Su and So Ra’s friends. Hyo Lyn would bring her son along with her whenever she visits the couple. Hee Chul, Han Geng and Young Woon bought dresses and toys for their little niece though some of the dresses are too big for So Jung.

“So Jung ah, when you grow up, you must not be like your father, araso?” Hee Chul said to So Jung who is lying on the bed playing with So Ra’s fingers.

“Be like your mother,” Young Woon joined Hee Chul to talk to their little niece.

“Both of you don’t give bad influence to my daughter,” Jung Su walked into the bedroom with two glasses of juices.

“You’re the one that don’t give bad influence to my niece,” Hee Chul hit on Jung Su’s back.

So Ra watched the three men joked around and smiled. She is glad that she made the right decision to be with Jung Su again. So Ra caressed So Jung’s face and planted a soft kiss on her cheek.

‘So Jung ah, grow up well. Appa and umma love you.’

Jung Su noticed that So Ra has fall asleep and signalled Hee Chul and Young Woon to lower down their volume. He carried So Jung in his arm after pulling the blanket up to cover So Ra’s body. They all left the bedroom.

‘So Ra, don’t worry. I’ll be the man to protect you and So Jung. Both of you are my life.’ 

A/N: I am so sorry for being away for such a long time and unable to update. I had been busy with my part time work and when I got home, I was just so tired and went to bed straightaway. School started on Monday so things are getting better now. This story is ending in about two more chapters so I would try to end it ASAP. Thank you all for being patience while waiting for update.
