Jung Su stood at the balcony of his new apartment which is situated in Itaewon. He has been working at Pandora for a month but never has the chance to meet Kang Yong Il in person. Instead of meeting Kang Yong Il, he met another person the other day in the shopping mall.

*Flashback*

Jung Su just finished his work at Pandora and decided to go for a grocery shopping at the nearby shopping mall. He was making a decision about buying steak for dinner when a man in a grey suit stood beside him.

“Jung Su hyung,” The man called him.

Jung Su looked to his side and saw a man smiling at him. He couldn’t remember seeing this man before but somehow he felt that this man is familiar.

“Don’t remember me?” The man smiled brightly at him. “I’m Young Woon, Kim Young Woon.”

Young Woon? Kim Young Woon? Jung Su tried to recall the name. His memory went back to the old days when he was still living in Seoul before leaving to the States. Kim Young Woon, that little boy who lived next door to his house and liked to follow behind him when the kids in the neighbourhood gathered together to play hide and seek.

“Remember me now?” Young Woon grinned at him.

“Yes,” Jung Su smiled back at him. “It’s been a long while.”

“Indeed,” Young Woon nodded his head.

Young Woon invited Jung Su to have dinner with him at one of the restaurants inside the shopping mall. Jung Su understood that Young Woon is now the CEO of Empire.

“You’re working at Pandora now?” Young Woon asked Jung Su but his sight is still on the plate of pasta in front of him.

“How did you know?” Jung Su questioned him instead of answering his question.

Young Woon smiled at Jung Su and drank the red wine in the glass, “Hyung, be careful for what you are planning to do. You’re dealing with a devil.”

“You have insider in Pandora?” Jung Su questioned Young Woon.

“A friend,” Young Woon replied.

*End of flashback*

Jung Su wondered if the friend Young Woon said is Han Geng. For this whole month, beside the day of the interview and his first day at work, he only met Han Geng few times in the company. He couldn’t make sure if Han Geng is a friend or an enemy. The ringing of his phone stopped his deep thought for a second.

“Yoboseyo,” Jung Su answered the phone. The number showing on the screen is a stranger’s number.

“That was fast,” A familiar voice spoke at the other end of the phone call.

“Han Geng?” Jung Su recognised the voice within a short time. “Where did you get my phone number?”

“I have my own method,” Han Geng replied.

“Who are you?” Jung Su voiced his suspicion.

“I thought you already know,” Han Geng responded. “Kang Yong Il is coming to the company tomorrow. Tomorrow is your chance.”

Han Geng ended the call before Jung Su could give him any response. If Jung Su still has his suspicion a while ago, it is clear now. Han Geng is on his side. And tomorrow is his chance to get closer to Kang Yong Il. With that in mind, Jung Su went into his dreamland.

So Ra followed Kang Yong Il to Pandora after breakfast since he promised to accompany her to the art museum in the afternoon. It is the first time she came to Pandora. When they walked into the building, everyone that walked pass them would greet them. Though So Ra never comes to Pandora, the employees recognised her.

Kang Yong Il went to the meeting room. Han Geng sat down at the seat beside him and switched on his laptop. So Ra decided to tour around the building. There is a cafeteria at the third floor of the building. So Ra ordered a cup of Americano but later realised that she didn’t bring her wallet.

“I’ll pay for this lady,” Jung Su was helping his colleagues to buy drinks and saw So Ra.

“We met the other day at the shopping mall, right?” So Ra recognised Jung Su.

“Oh, it’s you,” Jung Su tried to greet her with ease.

“You work at Pandora? Which department are you working at?” So Ra asked him.

“Financial,” Jung Su smiled at her. “I have to go first. Goodbye.”

“Bye,” So Ra responded.

When Jung Su returned to his department, his manager ran into the office in a hurry. Jung Su passed the drinks to his colleagues and knocked on the manager’s door.

“Mr Kim, is everything alright?” Jung Su asked him.

“Follow me to the meeting room,” Kim Jang Hyun took a file and left the department.

Jung Su followed Kim Jang Hyun to the meeting room at the tenth floor. Everyone’s sight is on Jung Su when he walked into the meeting room. This is the first time Jung Su saw Kang Yong Il.

“Can you explain where this money goes?” Kang Yong Il threw a file onto the floor.

Jung Su bent down to pick up the file. He looked at the amount of money printed on the paper and then at his manager. Lastly, his sight fell on Han Geng who slightly nodded his head after noticing his sight.

“From the date printed on this paper, this amount of money is requested from Mr Moon,” Jung Su remembered passing a file to Kim Jang Hyun couple of days ago. It was from Moon Ji Hwa, the manager of sales department. “He said it is urgent and needed Mr Kim to approve it immediately.”

Kang Yong Il stared at Moon Ji Hwa who couldn’t stop sweating right now. He looked at Han Geng who soon understood his meaning. Han Geng called the securities. Moon Ji Hwa is fired right on spot.

“What’s your name?” Kang Yong Il asked Jung Su.

“Park Jung Su,” Jung Su replied.

Kang Yong Il didn’t say anything else. When Kang Yong Il walked out from the meeting room, Han Geng smiled at Jung Su and followed behind Kang Yong Il. Jung Su never understands the meaning behind Han Geng’s smile until the day Kang Yong Il chose him to be the manager at the sales department.
