Ever since Jung Su was promoted to be the manager at the sales department, his amount of work increased but he didn’t complain. It is a better chance for him to dig out Kang Yong Il’s secret. But there is always an exception which didn’t go as planned.

So Ra is attracted to Jung Su especially after the second time they met. She would follow Kang Yong Il to Pandora and look for Jung Su at the sales department which is at the seventh floor. Kang Yong Il was having a meeting with an overseas company when So Ra went to the cafeteria to look for Jung Su. She went to the sales department a while ago but Jung Su’s secretary said that he went to the cafeteria.

When So Ra walked into the cafeteria, she found Jung Su sitting in the corner eating his lunch. So Ra sat down on the chair opposite to him and greeted him.

“Young Miss,” Jung Su greeted So Ra.

“You can just call me So Ra,” So Ra said. “What are you eating for lunch?”

“Fried rice,” Jung Su answered. “Have you had your lunch?”

“No,” So Ra said.

“I’ll buy you lunch,” Jung Su brought So Ra to the counter and asked her what she would like to have for lunch. “What do you want to have for lunch?”

“Bibimbap,” So Ra made her choice.

Both of them sat on the same table, enjoying their lunch together. Some of the employees saw them and whispered to each other. Kang Yong Il overheard their whispering of his employees and fasten his footsteps to the cafeteria. He saw So Ra having a conversation with Jung Su and she is smiling brightly at him.

“Boss?” Han Geng waited for Kang Yong Il’s instruction. As much as he could recall, Kang Yong Il never allows any man to go near So Ra without his approval. He wondered if Kang Yong Il would make an exception this time.

“Find every information you could about Park Jung Su,” Kang Yong Il said.

“Yes Boss,” No one saw the smile on Han Geng’s face after receiving Kang Yong Il’s order.

Few days later, Jung Su was told that Kang Yong Il wanted to meet him in his office at the tenth floor. Jung Su wondered why Kang Yong Il wanted to meet him. His question is then answered.

“Do you like So Ra?” Kang Yong Il asked Jung Su directly once he walked into his office.

“Young Miss is nice to me,” Jung Su responded. “Everyone likes her.”

“I’m asking if you like her,” Kang Yong Il said. “You may not know this but my daughter likes you. I never see smile that happily ever since her mother passed away when she was only seven years old. If you like her, I’ll let both of you engage. You’ll take over Pandora once both of you are married. What is your decision?”

Jung Su was surprised at the words coming out from Kang Yong Il’s mouth. He never thinks that someday he would be this close to take down Kang Yong Il by dating his daughter. He never forgets his mission but by accepting Kang Yong Il’s offer, it means that in the future, he will hurt So Ra. Can he hurt an innocent girl just to complete his mission?

“Yes or no?” Kang Yong Il questioned him.

“I like her,” Jung Su’s priority is always his mission. He couldn’t disappoint both Eric and Hye Sung. The choice has been made. He would hurt So Ra, someday.

So Ra has no idea that her father has had a conversation with Jung Su. She was on her way home when her father called her and told her to meet him at a restaurant. When she arrived at the restaurant, she was surprised that Jung Su is also there.

“So Ra, you and Jung Su are engaging next month,” Kang Yong Il said before the dinner is served.

“Appa!” So Ra exclaimed.

“Both of you like each other,” Kang Yong Il stated. “So Ra, appa wish that someone can stay by your side with you when appa is gone. Jung Su likes you and I can trust him with you.”

“But this is too fast,” So Ra looked at Jung Su, wishing that he would say something. “We only know each other for couple of days.”

“You have a month to get to know each other better before your engagement,” Kang Yong Il told her.

So Ra knew there is nothing she could do to change her father’s decision. She could only accept it. When the food is served, So Ra took a few glimpses at Jung Su. She couldn’t feel the affection from Jung Su. Does he really like her? So Ra has no confident about it. He didn’t say anything since her father announced their engagement. He didn’t show a sign of happiness about the engagement. He is acting as if the engagement has nothing to do with him.

Kang Yong Il received a phone call halfway through the dinner and had to leave. He asked Jung Su to send So Ra home after the dinner. Jung Su did as he told. However, he sent a message to Hye Sung so that he could send someone to follow after Kang Yong Il.

“Oppa, do you really like me?” So Ra asked Jung Su.

“Yes,” Jung Su answered without hesitation. But in his heart, a sense of guilty is rising.

“But you don’t seem happy about our engagement,” So Ra sounded disappointed. She didn’t feel joy or excitement from Jung Su’s tone when he answered her question.

“It’s just happening too fast,” Jung Su smiled at So Ra.

So Ra didn’t say anything. Her hands are on the table. Jung Su grabbed her left hand.

“Oppa?” So Ra looked at Jung Su in confuse. She couldn’t understand his sudden action. Jung Su stood up and leaned towards her. His lips touched hers. They kissed. Before she could react, Jung Su’s lips left hers. So Ra blinked her eyes. She couldn’t believe that her first kiss had just happened.

“So Ra, saranghae,” Jung Su said.

So Ra’s face turned red. She looked down at her plate of food. This is his confession, So Ra thought. He didn’t say anything to express his feeling. He used action to express his feeling. He kissed her as a proof that he likes her just like she does.

However, Jung Su was surprised by himself. He didn’t know why he did that to So Ra, the daughter of a drug dealer. He thought all he has to do is acted as if he is interested in her, but why did he kiss her when he saw the disappointment on her face a while ago? Did he fall for her? No, he can’t.

‘Park Jung Su, remember your mission. You must not fall in love with her. Never.’

‘Oppa likes me too. I’m so happy.’

Two persons with two different thoughts. How would their story end? No one knows the answer. But one thing for sure, one of them would be hurt. 

A/N: I'm sorry for being away for such a long while. Been really busy this semester and I just had three mid-semester tests done this week. And there are still so many assignments waiting for me. But I promise that I will finish this story no matter what. Thank you for waiting for me.
