So Ra sat on the armchair at the balcony. Many things were going through her mind lately. She didn’t go to the hospital since the day she was told that Jung Su has gained his conscious. She needed time to think about their relationship. She didn’t know that the calls made to her phone never stop because she switched her phone to silent mode. When she walked into the living room, she took a look at her phone and realised that she had lots of missed calls, and mostly from Hyo Lyn.

“Hyo Lyn, what happened?” So Ra called her back.

“So Ra! What happened to you? Why didn’t you pick your phone up?” Hyo Lyn questioned her.

“Sorry, I put my phone on silent mode,” So Ra told her.

“Do you know that Park Jung Su is leaving Seoul?” Hyo Lyn asked.

“He’s leaving?” So Ra paused for a long while before she could respond to Hyo Lyn’s question.

“His flight is leaving in an hour time,” Hyo Lyn told her.

So Ra didn’t say anything. Hyo Lyn didn’t end the call but waited for So Ra’s reply. So Ra didn’t know what she should do or what she could do at this moment. Should she go to the airport and ask him to stay? But what is going to change even if she asked him to stay? The history couldn’t be changed or forgotten.

“So Ra,” Hyo Lyn called her after a long while. “I can tell that both of you still love each other. If you let this chance slip through, there is no turning back for both of you.”

So Ra didn’t respond to Hyo Lyn’s words but ended the call. She sat down on the couch in the living room and touched the ring. Five minutes later, she left the apartment and headed to the airport. When she ran into the airport, Hee Chul and Young Woon saw her. She ran towards them.

“Where is he?” So Ra asked.

“His flight already took off,” Young Woon replied.

“He’s gone,” So Ra murmured.

“You had your chance but you let it slipped through,” Hee Chul looked at So Ra for a while and walked away.

“Did he go back to the States?” So Ra asked Young Woon.

“Yes,” Young Woon nodded his head.

“He’s not coming back anymore?” So Ra questioned him.

“I don’t know,” Young Woon sighed.

He remembered the expression on Jung Su’s face before he stepped into the departure hall. From the way he looked, Young Woon felt that Jung Su has made his decision not to come back to Seoul anymore but he didn’t tell So Ra. He didn’t understand why two persons who still love each other are continuously hurting each other.

So Ra didn’t know how she got back to Hyo Lyn’s apartment. She sat down on the bed. She couldn’t believe that Jung Su just left Seoul. She never thinks that someday she pushed him far away that he had decided to leave.

“Park Jung Su,” So Ra touched the ring. “You’re not leaving me again. I don’t approve it.”

Jung Su was walking on the street but stopped when he thought he heard a familiar voice calling his name. He shook his head slightly and a bitter smile showed on his face. However, as he fastened his footsteps, the same voice is heard.

“Park Jung Su!”

He stopped walking and turned around. He couldn’t believe that the person he has been missing since he came back to Seoul is standing right in front of him. They stood opposite to each other, ignoring the stares from others. Yet, none of them moved a step towards each other.

“So Ra,” Jung Su finally called her.

So Ra didn’t respond to his calling. But tears are forming in her eyes. Jung Su walked slowly towards her. He could feel the pain in his heart when he saw the tears in her eyes.

“Why are you crying?” Jung Su sighed and wiped away her tears with his hands.

“Park Jung Su,” So Ra called him.

“Yes,” Jung Su responded.

“Park Jung Su,” She called his name again.

“Yes,” Jung Su responded again.

“Park Jung Su,” So Ra couldn’t hold back her tears. She started to hit him on his chest. “How could you leave me alone? How could you walk away after I chose to forgive you? How could you leave me after saying that you love me? I hate you… I hate you…”

Jung Su didn’t say a word to respond to what So Ra had just said. He just listened quietly.

“Park Jung Su, I don’t allow this to happen,” So Ra looked at him. “I don’t allow you to leave me without my permission.”

“Then what shall I do?” Jung Su caressed her face. “Tell me, So Ra.”

“Stay by my side,” So Ra told him. “Promise me that you are never leaving me alone again.”

“Are you sure?” Jung Su smiled at her. “Once the promise is made, you can never push me away. Are you sure that you are ready to accept that promise now?”

“I’m sure,” So Ra responded.

Jung Su smiled and leaned forward. He kissed her, on the street, ignoring gazes from the strangers. He thought that both of them would be complete strangers after he left Seoul. But she came all the way here to ask him to stay with her. His angel is back to his side. Nothing would separate them from now on. They have each other now. That’s all that matters.

“So Ra, saranghae,” He whispered into her ear after the kiss ended.

“Oppa, saranghae,” She replied.

‘So Ra, my angel, my love. Nothing will separate us from now on. We will be happy. Our love will last forever. I love you, forever.’

‘Oppa, let the past be left at yesterday. Let’s face the future together. I love you.’
