Chapter 6:

Hyesung had a big grin on his face when he returned back to the dorm. It was already over midnight, so he had gotten late (once again) and he was expecting to see Eric at the foyer. But when Hyesung opened the door, there was no one.

“Eric?” Hyesung heard himself ask. “Eric, where are you?”

The main vocalist walked around the foyer, entered the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, checked Eric’s room too, but he was not home. It felt weird. He was always there. He always stood in front of the door, arms crossed to the chest and glared at the younger man. Hyesung stopped walking and halted in front of the doormat. He took his shoes off and startled when someone sat up on the couch.

“Chung Jae ya!”

“Hyung,” The current maknae rubbed his eyes and smiled when the view in front of him wasn’t blurry anymore. “Was it fun with Jonghyuk?”

“Yeah,” Hyesung nodded. “Where is Eric?”

Junjin’s hair was messy even though it had been on a ponytail (A/N: whatever you effing do with long hair, it will always be messy after sleeping, ok? I know the struggle too well). The younger man clicked his tongue and asked, “Is he not here?” Hyesung shook his head. “Oh, then it means he has not come home yet.”

The mommy bird put his hands to the backrest of the couch and leered at Junjin. His eyes were half-lidded, meaning he had not slept that long at all, and the lips were pouty. He had been watching television, but someone had possibly come and switched it off. That’s why it was dark in the living room.

“Where did he go?” Hyesung asked.
