Jonghyun POV:

It’s the day, final day. After passed some competitions, Fiction High School join in final competition. It’s important day for me, there are some managers from some basketball club come to look for new players. So, I want this day my important people in my life witness this competition. My parent, my sister, my best friend and her parent, and my girlfriend. My parent, my sister, my best friend and her parent sit in the same row, I waving my hand to show them that I know where they sit and my girlfriend as cheerleader sit in the same seat with the basketball team. We can win this competition right?. Yesterday, I get messege from Young-ie, she said she will give me a gift if I win this competition,

“You must win, and I will give my gift to you after competition.

Fighting, Jjong...”

And, my wish comes true. After passed last second, I save my team and become the winner. Now, we raise our champion cup and singing togather. When I comeback to players change room, Bo Ram stand in front of players change room,

“My boyfriend is so cool today, want any present from me? I’ll give you anything,” she said that while huging me.

“You witness my competition is already a present for me, I will change my clothes and meet my parent,” when I enter the room she pull my body and kiss me in my lips, due to the shock I avoid the kiss but here she go again, kiss me in front of my team, I hear they clap really loudly, “that’s the best present Jonghyun-ah,” I hear some of my friends said that. But, why I don’t feel happy about this kiss, it’s kiss from my girlfriend, I should feel happy, right?. I feel that there is a great present waiting for me, not from my girlfriend, but from my best friend.

Jin So POV:

 I witness that scene, they kiss in the public. There are about 25 people there, include me and her who standing in front of me with a gift for her friend. She just standing there, can come near nor stay away, she just frozen seeing that scene. I grab her hand and that’s make she come to her sense, I see tears come from her eyes, I just pull her body and ask her to me with me,

“Why are you crying?, you really like him, right?,” she doesn’t answer my question, as always, but I can’t bear it to see her crying like that, so I just hug her, hope that can help her,”use my shoulder. I wont ask anything to you, just cry if it can make you feel better,” she cries hard. After cried, she just keep silent, but she pull her body from my hug, “do you feel better now,” I asked and she just nod to answer my question, “look at your eyes, it’s really red. Wanna wear this so people can’t see your after cry eyes?,” I lend my glasses, but she refuse it,

“Jin So –yah, it must be hard for you. Getting rejected by me five times, but you still standing beside me. Don’t you mad at me?,” she said the weird thing. Firstly, she call me Jin So-yah, she never called me by my name back then. Secondly, does she pity me?, ‘because I rejected you, at least mad at me a little bit. Don’t be nice to me, it’s such a burden,’ is that what you mean?,

“Why you call me Jin So-yah, was we that closed?, and what’s that mean?, ‘don’t you mad at me?. ’ Ahh..right, I really mad to you, and the reason..there are too much reasons, so I can’t explain one by one now. But, my love is more biger than my madness, so I can standing beside the person who make me mad everyday,” yeah, chessy person, it’s me. Although she doesn’t like that kind of words, but that words naturally come out from my mouth.

“Don’t you want me to call you by your name?, so just now I granted your wish. And another wish, I’ll grant it tomorrow. So, thank you for being here,” she act different, is it side effect from crying hard? I just talk inside my heart, “can you help me one more time?,” she asked help from me, today is really special today right?, she do all kind of thing that she wouldn’t do back then.

“What can I do for you?,” I asked her and suddenly she take out something from her bag and give that thing to me, “what is that?gift for me?,” I proundly asked that.

“Nope, sorry. Your gift will arrive tomorrow after graduation ceremony, but this gift, can you give it to Jonghyun?,” ah..this girl, after saying like she pitying me, now she want me to give her gift to Jonghyun, when I’m clearly know that she like him.

“Why don’t you give that by yourself?.”

“In this condition. My red eyes, my puffy eyes. Beside that, I must take care other bussines, so, please, Jin So-yah,” why after she call me by my name, I feel really happy and take the gift and promised her that the gift will arrive safely to Jonghyun, ahh..I’m really crazy.

So, here I’m, players  change room, I call him who still busy with his phone,

“Do you see Ah Young?,” he asked that when he walk closer to me.

“She just go home, and she want me to give you this,” I hand over the gift from Ah Young, “she must take care of some bussines, so she can’t meet you personally,” I said that when I look at Jonghyun’s face, his face is full of question and I think I know one of his question he want to ask to me.

“Why she entrust this to you?.”

“Because we meet in front of players change room two hours ago, and I think, she wont bother his friend and his girlfriend, so she just entruts that gift to me and go,” I answer his question, I indirectly tell him that she saw his kiss scene with his girlfriend.

He just run, without saying thank you. You can’t meet her now, I deliberete wait for her until she go home and then meet you to hand over that gift, so you can’t run after her.

“Ah Young-ah, it seems that he likes you too. But what should I do?, I can’t let you go.”

That day Ah Young went to her new college in Daegu. She can’t join graduation ceremony because there is an event at her college that she must attend. She decided to become teacher, so she take education major in Kyungpook National University. The gift that she was promise to give to Jin So, she sent it to her home at graduation day. For Jonghyun, he know about Ah Young went to Daegu when her parent tell him that she can’t attend graduation ceremony, he called her and tell her to take care of herself well because he can’t run to Daegu everytime she need her. From the final competition day, he got so many call from clubs that join Korea Basketball League. After he read what Ah Young write in the gift, he decided to join club that named Seoul Knight  so he can fullfill Ah Young’s wish.

“Jonghyun-ah.. I decided to become a teacher,

so I will study hard in Daegu and become a good teacher.

While I’m in Daegu, you must practice hard and become

A good basketball player. So in the future we can share

Our good experience. Fighting for us… ”
