The day after the incident, Hanbin made sure to go back to the park. He went at around 5 o' clock in the afternoon, around the same time as he did yesterday, and sat in the same bench as he did yesterday but the same girl from yesterday was nowhere around. The bench was now occupied by a grandmother with two of her grandchildren.

"I knew it," Hanbin sighed. He wanted to see the girl, whom he had already nicknamed college girl, again. Even if it was a long shot, he thought it would be worth a try.

He quickly headed back to the studio before the members started looking for him.

Meanwhile, Inna was busy with planning an event she's heading. She stayed in school until the gates closed and studied until dawn to catch up on her lessons. She missed studying in the park but the event was like a baby she needed to take care of which left her with little time to spare.

She would go to school, attend class, make preparations for the event on her breaks, attend more classes, hold a meeting until night, go home and study.

He would go to the studio, practice with the boys, record songs for their album, practice some more with the boys, exercise, go home and write new songs.

This was life as they know it.

Every other day or so, he would drop by the park with hopes of seeing her. It was weird for Hanbin himself to be acting like this. He knows a lot of girls who were much prettier. Much talented, probably. But he couldn't get her out of his mind. Slowly, his songs became either about being lonely, wanting to be in a relationship or feeling in love. Fortunately, YG approved of all their new songs - the boat was sailing smoothly once again. The boys about it but they didn't think he actually liked someone. Let alone that someone being a girl he just saw in the park one time.

Inna's event was a huge success. She held the university's largest fundraising party for her organization's beneficiary. She was proud to be able to give back to the less fortunate. After that whirlwind of a night, Inna was finally able to go back to her daily routine.

As she strolled towards her usual bench near the fountain, she greeted the two old men playing chess by the fountain - positioned exactly as they were since the last time she saw them. "Hello, Mr. Choi and Mr. Jung."

"Inna, it's been a while," Mr. Choi said with a smile.

"I know, I've been busy," she replied but Mr. Choi didn't seem to hear as he went back to focusing on their game of chess.

When she decided to continue walking, she saw a familiar face. Yah, it's Mr. Downer, she thought. She remembered him from the last time she was in the park. She had almost forgotten about the guy sat in front of her, who looked like he was busy writing down all his angst and problems. She approached him and tried to give comforting words before leaving the park. She was pretty sure he was going to be mad at her for interrupting him so she left before he could even say anything. Also, because she hadn't realized just how cute he actually was. "I can't believe I forgot about Mr. Downer from last week," she whispered to herself.

Hanbin was walking towards her with his hands in his pockets, shoulders slumped and eyes on the ground.

Inna couldn't help but notice of Mr. Downer's cool get-up. He was wearing a snapback, black muscle tee, grey trainers and all black kicks.

"Stop carrying the whole world's burdens," Inna said as Hanbin passed by, eyes still focused on the ground.

He looked up to see the girl he had given up on seeing ever again. Nice timing, Hanbin-ah! he thought. She looked better than he remembered. She was wearing a black dress, a denim jacket and the same white chucks. He couldn't help but smile.

"Anyong! The name is Cho Inna," she held out her hand.

"Kim Hanbin imnida," he said as he shook her hand.

"Hanbin.." her words lingered, "now I don't have to call you Mr. Downer anymore."

"Me?" he laughed.

So he can actually laugh, Inna thought.

"Sorry. I guess you just always see me during my bad times," he said.

"Wanna tell me about it?" the girl asked and started walking before he could even answer.

College girls really are cool, Hanbin thought. He followed her until they were walking side by side.

"So, Hanbin, how old are you?"

"I'm 19,"

"Korean age?"

"Yep,"

"We're almost the same age! I'm 18 in korean age,"

"Are you studying college?"

"Yes. I'm majoring in Statistics at Hongik."

"That's cool!" he exclaimed, "How are you finding it?"

"I love my course but really it's the people that make it worthwhile. Enough about me. Why are you always so down?"

"I'm not always down," a smile formed in the boy's lips, he looked a hundred times better when he smiled, Inna thought, "It's just the circumstances."

"Okay then. Well, what's bothering you with the current circumstance?"

Hanbin sighed. "I'm a trainee a

Chapter 14: This will forever be one of my favorite Hanbin's fanfics, though I love as late for this. It made me reminisced my fresh years in college. I smiled a lot & cried too while reading your story. Their love was pure. Madly innocently in love. Big thanks to you author-nim.
