The ten men were smiling and their eyes were sparkling as if they’d won a big award or the lottery. When the music stopped, everyone went silent as the lights turn off. Suho stood on the center of the stage, smiling and tears b in his eyes. With a shaky voice, he said, “H-hello Exo-L’s.” Everyone stayed silent and Suho took this as a sign to continue.


“It has been 8 years since Exo debuted. And we can’t thank all of you enough.”        One by one, the members went beside their leader. Lay, Tao, Baekhyun and Sehun were already crying. Tao, Xiumin, Kai and Chanyeol were holding back their tears and Chen had a forced smile on his face and was trying to comfort his already crying members. “It’s gonna be okay. We are one, remember?” he whispered to them.


Suho moistened his lips before speaking. “During the journey, it has been hard for us. There were a lot obstacles that we had to overcome, but it was also wonderful. We have won tons of awards, traveled overseas, and met new faces throughout everything and, again, we can’t thank you enough." The leader's voice cracked at the end and he wiped the tears gathering in his eyes.        Suho closed his eyes to refrain them from falling as he quickly recovered and smiled at the fans. “And yet, you guys didn’t leave our sides, especially that day.” He bowed his head in a grateful manner and let out a shaky breath. “Now eight years had passed, and we’re not complete anymore, not since that day--the day that made a lot of you cry. But we can't blame them; they’re humans too, and they made their own decisions. We were disappointed and sad at the same time, but there’s nothing we could do about it except to keep going on.” In the end, Suho didn’t manage to continue his speech, and he finally letting out a sob.       Wiping his tears, Baekhyun took the mic from Suho and started speaking. “Hello Exo-L’s, Baekhyun speaking here,” he joked, faking a laugh. The crowd couldn't help but laugh with him. Baekhyun let out a deep breath and titled his head on the side rather cutely. “Woah, I can’t believe it. Eight years, right? Eight years since our journey started. Like what Suho hyung said, it has been a tough expedition for us, to all of us." He his lips. "I’m quite impressed by your bravery, loyalty and dedication. You had to endure so many things just to stay with us, and some have already left because they couldn't endure it anymore.” He smiled bitterly and looked at the Silver Ocean in front of him. For years, Baekhyun had seen the Ocean tons of times, but he never got the hang of it. Every time he saw it, he always felt amazing and new.       “But let’s not focus on that, since this is probably the last concert Xiumin and Suho hyung will be on before they enlist the army."
