All of the boys took off after Bobby, knowing very well how bad things could turn once he let himself reach the point. He was both predictable and unpredictable at the same time. He could end up tossing stones in a lake or he could end up rotting away in a jail cell. There was really no way of knowing.
You rolled your eyes, about to walk off after them when Shin suddenly stepped forward, not seeming to expect you'd walk away so abruptly. "Wait a second. Uh..." You looked back at him, waiting for him to hurry and get on with what he wanted to say. The fact that you had to walk all the way to the skatepark from your house the first time was enough for you to know you didn't want to walk back the same way. Your house was pretty nearby, but still. "Well... I wasn't lying about that date," Shin said. He smiled playfully, shoving his hands in his pocket. He seemed to be caring less about his bloody lip now. "If you're not doing anything now, I'd like to take you out." You stared at him dully. Sure, he was handsome. Sure, you had to pity him a little for getting punched in the face partly of because of you. There were a few reasons that should've made you say yes to him. But even so, you really didn't feel like it--plain and simple. "I'll pass," you sighed, stepping back to Minhee. "I appreciate the offer anyway, I guess." "Really?" Shin said, eyebrows raising as if he'd never faced rejection a day in his life. Now that you noticed it, he did remind you of a certain someone you knew--which, to be honest was not working very well for him now. "Yeah," you replied, backtracking on your way to the exit. "Congrats on your win, though." Shin silently held his hand up in a frozen wave as you turned around and walked away without a moment's hesitation. Well that was new. To him, at least. Bobby sighed, a small stream of smoke escaping his slight frown. He didn't know why he was so irritated. It wasn't like he expected you to choose his side; you never did, anyway. In fact, a side of him liked you even more because of it. Even he didn't quite understand it. As for Shin... Now that he thought about it, maybe he should've punched him harder. Bobby sighed, wrapping his arm around the girl next to him as he threw another shot to the back of his throat. By now, he'd drunk so many he could hardly feel it in his throat. It was getting late, wasn't it? It could've been an hour or a minute since he'd been there. He didn't know. He glanced disinterestedly at the girl he had his arm around. What was her name? Kaeun? No, it started with an M. Or was it a D? He sighed. It hurt his eyes to look at her bright red hair. It was nothing in comparison to Ahri's. "My name is Gaeun," the girl said, not seeming to care much that he just called her by another name. "You just called me Ahri." "I didn't," Bobby said, shaking his head. "I must've been thinking out loud." The girl pouted, leaning into his chest. "Don't think about her when I'm the one here with you." Bobby leaned away from her, prying her hands away from his chest. He dug himself out of her sofa, hardly able to stand up on his own. He didn't know how late it was, but he knew his mom would have a fit if she saw him come home as drunk as he was. That's if she was even home this time. "I need to leave," he slurred, pointing lazily toward the door of her apartment. He didn't remember if she'd said anything, but he really didn't care if she did. He probably wouldn't remember much of her in the morning, anyway. You sat outside of your house, staring aimlessly at the night sky. It'd been almost an hour and you could still hear your mom
