YIFAN'S POV

   I called my brother Tao-tao to go downstairs so we can pick-up Sophie from Chen's house. I know that the troll will not voluntarily bring her to us. After another six weeks of waiting have passed, it is our turn again to have Sophie in the house. I immediately sat up from laying on the sofa when I heard the faint cries of my little brother. As I run upstairs towards our playroom, I also smelled blood in the air. This made me move faster because of worry for him. When I open the door I saw Tao with a bloody nose crying while sitting beside his nunchucks, the real ones, made of wood and metal. I already told him to use the plastics ones, but this kid is persistent to use the real thing. This is not the first time he had a bloody nose, sometimes it's also a busted lip or lips, a bump on his forehead, a scratch on his panda face or the worst, which is the combination of everything I've mentioned.
   Tao is also starting to learn martial arts, he is starting with wushu but he also mentioned to our father that he would like to learn other forms of self-defense. Which is good for him since he cannot rely on his gift to save his during fights. His gift of time control is a unique power and it is also complicated. Tao can stop time temporarily, he can go back to the past and also go to the future, but he cannot do it at his whim. He has to consider the balance, stopping time can disrupt the course of natural events, things that are fated to happen can change drastically even if he only stop time for a few seconds. He will be allowed in the future to go to the past and the future but only to observe, he is not allowed to change anything. I cupped my brother's face in my hands while I rub circles on his back. "Shh Tao-tao it's alright, gege will fix it for you." I rush to the adjoining bathroom to get the first aid kit, although Tao is a wolf and will heal in a few hours naturally, I still don't want to risk infection and seeing him walking with blood running from his nose just makes me worry. 

   After cleaning Tao's bloody nose and putting a sponge bob band-aid on his upper lip which was also bruised by the nunchucks, we set out to get Sophie from our troll neighbor Chen-chen. I impatiently knocked on the Kim family's front door, I can sense that Chen and Chanyeol are just standing on the other side of the door, refusing to open it. "Yah open your door before I burn it." I can hear Chen mimicking me with the use of his helium voice while Chanyeol is laughing his out. Aish these two brothers are the same. Before I can blow fire on their door handles to melt the metal, I heard their mother's voice, scolding them for refusing us in their house. The double doors opened and there is my angel Sophie and standing behind her is the troll brothers. Sophie kisses Tao on the nose which made my brother blushed deep red but also made him forget the pain he suffered from the nunchucks. I opened my arms and Sophie ran into my arms giggling. I lifted her in my arms so that she can get a better view of her surroundings because of my tall height. "Where's my kiss baby girl? Gege misses you so much." She covered my eyes and kiss me on the lips, I don't know why she always covers my eyes every time I ask her for a kiss, but since Sophie cannot speak yet I don't have any explanation for this cute behavior of hers.
