Prologue
Never Have I Ever**
“Never have I ever lied to my parents,” he said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes at him. She found it funny. ‘What child hasn’t lied to their parents?’ she thought with a chuckle. She then grabbed the shot glass on the table and downed the soju in one go. She scrunched up her face in disgust as the horrid liquid slithered down . She has always hated the way it tasted.
The doe-eyed boy pulled back his head and laughed at her expression. He found her amusing and adorable to say the least.
“That’s not fair! You were supposed to say something you haven’t done yet,” she pouted at him. He simply chuckled. “I haven’t lied to my parents at all. I’m quite open to them,” he proudly stated.
She rolled her eyes again and scowled at him. She seriously felt like he’s playing with her. He refilled her glass to the rim and her scowl deepened.
“Your turn,” he smiled cheekily. She internally sighed. ‘Screw that cheeky smile of his,’ she thought.
She clicked her tongue at him. She doesn’t exactly like people ordering her around. Nevertheless, she tapped her index finger at the table in thought.
‘What to say? What to say?’ she wondered in her mind.
Her companion, a senior by only a year, looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to say something.
She smiled evilly as she finally thought of what to say.
“Never have I ever been rejected,” she raised an eyebrow at him.
The cheeky smile plastered on his face instantly fell and his beautiful face was soon decorated with a nasty scowl.
He glared at her but begrudgingly grabbed his shot glass. Like her, he downed the liquid in one smooth gulp. She couldn’t help but make a face of disgust.
She hated soju but she really can’t do anything about it now. She found herself enjoying her senior’s company and their silly game.

Their Never-Have-I-Evers continued on for quite a long while. The lone green bottle soon became two, and then three, and then became four.
Now, on their fifth and maybe final bottle, the two were quite tipsy and droopy.
“Yah! Sunbae! It’s your turn. Come on~ Say something!!” she slurred. He laughed at her. She was drunk but so was he. He found the situation quite humorous. “Sunbae~~!” his junior hiccupped.
“Shh! I’m thinking!” he shushed her. His index finger touched her lips, successfully making her stop mumbling.
