Jongin gets comfortable on the bed beside Yixing. He sets their lunch down in the space between them, and hands his roommate one of the cups filled with pumpkin juice.

“Thank you,” Yixing says, ignoring the chicken drumsticks and reaching for the cheesy fries first. His roommate pops one into his mouth and sighs in bliss.

“You guys are really cruel,” Luhan says from the bed next to theirs. “How could you be eating cheesy fries right in my face?”

Jongin bites a fry. “Hmmm. Crunchy, cheesy, yummy.”

“This is torture! Gimmie one!” Luhan rises from the bed, but immediately clutches his stomach. His face goes white as snow and he sways. “Ow. . Room. Spinning. Dizzy.”

Yixing chuckles and helps him lie down again. “If you stop moving the potion will get rid of the effects faster.”

Luhan closes his eyes and nods. A little color returns to his cheeks.

“So, what did you do this time?” Jongin takes a bite out of a drumstick and washes it down with juice. Fried chicken is the best.

“Nothing,” Luhan says through clenched teeth.

Yixing finishes another handful of fries. “Minseok jinxed him by accident. He brought Luhan in here last night, carrying him princess style and everything.”

Jongin barks out a laugh. “He caught you again? You really at sleuthing.”

Luhan crosses his arms and glares at him. “Maybe. But that does not excuse him shooting deadly spells at me every time he finds me!”

Yixing shakes his head and sets his cup down on the nearby bedside table. “A vomiting jinx hardly counts as deadly.”

“It’s deadly to me!” Luhan yells. “Can’t you see I’m weak and dying here?”

Jongin cracks up. It’s not often that Luhan becomes a mess, but it’s hilarious whenever it happens.
