Day 51
100 Days of Rain
Han Geng actually did send me back to Korea. It's been two weeks now since I've been in Korea. I stayed with Sung Min. Sure, I got this long talk about not lying and all of that , but it stopped once I told Sung Min that Appa and Umma had disowned me. Today I went out to my favorite cafe and ordered some coffee. "Hyung!" I heard a familiar voice shout. I turned around and found Dong Hae.
"Dong Hae!" I shouted and engulfed him in a big hug. It was kind of awkward since he had an umbrella in one hand. It was raining?! I didn't even notice. How long had it been raining? Hmm... I don't feel it. It actually makes me happy right now... Why?
"Hyung," Dong Hae said, interrupting my thoughts. "Aren't you cold out in the rain? Aren't you annoyed?"
I shook my head. "Strangely, no..."
We went to the park and talked. I told him all about Han Geng. The rain let up a little. "So... Hyung... Where were you?" he asked.
"China," I said.
Dong Hae raised his eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yeah! I... Uh... I kind of... Want to go back..."
Dong Hae smiled. "Lucky for you, I've two tickets going to China tomorrow."
"Really?!" I screamed.
"Hyung! Too loud! Aish~ yeah. Really..."
"Why do you have two?"
"One for me... And the other was for Ki Bum, my boyfriend."
"Ah~ What happened? Why isn't he coming?"
"His parents are taking him to America for vacation instead. I couldn't let him pass up the chance."
I just nodded and stared at the rain that fell softly. I smiled. I loved it now. The soft splashes of the water made me smile. The feeling of rain on my skin made me laugh. And the memories it gave me brought me joy. I giggled as I thought of meeting Han Geng again.
"Hyung... What are you laughing at?" Dong Hae asked.
I snapped out of my daydreaming and said quickly, "Nothing!" And then we both went home, packing for our trip to China tomorrow. I couldn't stop smiling.
