tremble.

taehyung's voice hurt from screaming. it began cracking at some point in the conversation with his father. he had his father in target of his gun, as did yoongi, and his father was trying to get the gun behind him, was trying to shoot jungkook somewhere. taehyung wouldn't let him; he couldn't let him. jungkook couldn't get hurt, he couldn't-

"jungkook is the reason she's dead!" taehyung's father started sreaming. "did you know that, taehyung? did you know that your mother and his father got into an argument over jungkook? your mother wanted to keep him, his father didn't, and then his ing father killed her! the only reason she ever stayed with him was because of that little rodent!"

" you, father." taehyung growled. "you're just a bitter old man-"

quick footsteps down the hall had taehyung stopping, pointing his gun at the door instead. it was pure instinct, for him to twist his body like that, and it was a mistake- a fatal mistake.

taehyung's father shot.

jungkook collapsed with a loud cry, and when he hit the floor, he was already sobbing. taehyung's father fired another bullet at jungkook, but yoongi shoved taehyung, pushed him out in front of the bullet. it only caught his knee.

"stop!" seokjin said, but then taehyung's father shot another bullet; this one caught taehyung's shoulder. taehyung nearly collapsed, but yoongi caught him, and another bullet was fired. this one caught yoongi's arm.

"no!" seokjin said. he cocked his gun and shot at taehyung's father, catching his wrist, but not before he managed to get another shot in at the three bloody boys.

taehyung's father cried out and dropped his gun, and seokjin shot again- on impulse this time. the bullet ripped through the older man's right eye, and he went down like a sack, hitting the ground with an almost deafening thud.

seokjin looked over at yoongi, taehyung, and jungkook. he didn't like what he saw.
