Life Couldn't Get BetterHeechul's POV ~
When Heechul had been young (or at least younger than he was now), he had promised himself that he would live his life always taking care of his own feelings, not letting anyone hurt him. While watching all those cheap dramas, a bowl of popcorn settled on the blanket covering his lap, he had been repeating it over and over again in his head, that there was just no way he would forgive it when someone, even if the love of his life, would be a complete fail in bed, wouldn’t treat his feelings seriously, or what’s worse, would cheat on him.
Now, as he still watched those dramas from time to time, still under a blanket and with a bowl of popcorn, but with Hankyung sitting just next to him, he thought that all of it really didn’t matter; that he could bear with it.
And that he was really hopeless.
Heechul sighed and sat up straight on his bed. He really couldn’t tell what time it was, but he was sure it was pretty late, for the sun was shining brightly, trying to fight the clouds and smog. “Heechul…”
He blinked in surprise when he heard a voice that didn’t belong to him in what he had thought was an empty room. He looked up with a frown gracing his handsome features. He knew that he shouldn’t frown because it’d only make those disturbing wrinkles appear on his face, but he couldn’t stop himself from doing so, for he knew exactly who it was that whispered his name so uncertainly.
“What do you want?”
Heechul could see it in Hankyung’s eyes that his voice was just a little too cold, maybe even more than he had intended it to be. But he wouldn’t apologize. He couldn’t. Not him. Because it should be Hankyung apologizing to him, not the other way round.
For a few moments the whole room was silen
