Chapter 2
Memories of Tears and LoveThe next day Arron walked in the school, again with many eyes starring. It’s hard to be a smart, rich and hot guy nowadays. He walked through the hallway without seeing a sight of Jiro anywhere.
When Arron got to his classroom, he saw Jiro sitting with a girl on his lap.
“Hey dude, you missed out on a lot of fun last night.” Jiro told him.
“Good, that’s exactly what I wanted to do.” Arron coldly answered, while looking at the door to see if the teacher would be here soon. But surprisingly he saw someone else. He saw the girl, the girl from yesterday.
“Hey, Xiao Man. Here’s your bag.” Gui Gui said has she walked up to the girl sitting on Jiro’s lap.
She looked at it for a while, but something just didn’t seem right. “This isn’t my bag. It’s new.”
“I’m so sorry your old bag got into an accident.” Gui Gui apologized. “So, I got you a new one.”
“What happened?”
“Oh! Nothing just a small accident, if you don’t like this bag I’ll get you another one. Please don’t be mad.” Gui Gui pouted.
“You know that I loved that bag, why didn’t you take care of it? Tell me what happened to it!” Xiao Man demanded.
“The waiter at a café spilt a hot drink on her, and she got hurt because she wanted to protect the bag, and you’re yelling at her for it? What kind of friend are you?” Arron couldn’t help it seeing the innocent Gui Gui being yelled at something that she wasn’t at fault for.
“What does this have to do with you? Why are you getting in the middle of this? It was my favorite bag, jiro… What am I suppose to do?” She whined.
“Okay, Okay. Calm down… I’ll get you another one. Any one you want, okay?” Jiro kissed her on the cheek.
“Xiao Man, please don’t be mad at me. I don’t want to lose my best friend.” Gui Gui pouted and got on her knees to beg her.
“Hey, she’s not worth it.” Arron helped Gui Gui up. “Don’t make yourself look bad in front of someone who’d get mad at you over a bag. He dragged her out of the room.
He dragged her to the field. He didn’t know why he was so mad, but he just didn’t want to see her do such stupid things.
“Why’d you pull me out of there? I have to explain to her. I can’t lose this friend.” Gui Gui cried. “She helped me through all my bad times, and we had so many happy memories together.”
“Why are you making yourself look bad for such a stupid thing? Maybe she’ll forgive you after she calms down, and forgets about it.” Arron yelled.
Gui Gui cried harder and harder. “Why are you yelling at me? I just feel bad for wreaking her bag.” She sniffed through tears. She then grabbed onto Arron and cried in his arms.
“It’s okay, don’t cry.” Arron held onto her as she cried. He didn’t know why he cared for her, or why he even opened up to let her cry. He never felt so sad for a girl before.
