It felt as if the world had stopped around them, and the two heartbeats were beating at once. As soon as Arron realized what had just happen he quickly helped Gui Gui up before things got any further.

“Are you alright?” Arron’s face was cherry red.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Umm… I’m sorry. It was all Xiao Man’s fault.” Gui Gui stuttered.

An awkward silence came between them; Gui Gui was standing their looking at Arron thinking of what to do next. As Gui Gui was staring at Arron, Arron couldn’t help it but stare back.

With the awkward silence and the two staring fearlessly at each other, Gui Gui couldn’t help it anymore, things were just going to slow… she didn’t want to lose this chance.

“Ummm… Xiao Man told me that you had feelings for me… is that why your face was so red when I landed on you…” Gui Gui teased and laughed and jumped around trying to make it less awkward.

As Gui Gui was jumping around, Arron couldn’t help it. He grabbed her on the arm and pulled her close. Arron grabbed her face and roughly pushed his lips on hers.

Gui Gui did it, she finally opened up that cold heart of his. As Arron was kissing her, she felt her heart beating faster and faster. Something didn’t feel right. She was only supposed to get him to like her and she only liked Jiro. But why did she have that tingly feeling inside of her? Did she like him? She shook herself out of her thoughts.

“Yes, I like you. I like that you laugh as loud as you can, you cry as hard as you want to. I like how you have the heart of an angel, giving all the love to everyone you can. And no matter how bad someone is to you, you’ll still use all your efforts to help them. Over this past week, I couldn’t concentrate on anything, all I kept thinking about was you. I would go to the small café hoping that you would show up, I come here every night hoping that you would come here again.” Arron was holding onto Gui Gui as if she would run off anytime. “I can’t control my feelings, I need you by my side, I want to see you, hold you, and kiss you every day. Gui Gui, will you be my girlfriend?”

Even though the speech was very emotional and touching and Gui Gui was really into it. She was still on the plan, the plan to get Jiro’s heart. And to get the plan started she nodded to Arron’s question.

“Of course!” Gui Gui smiled and at the same time she reminded herself to not fall in love with Arron, because the only thing that she wanted to do was get Jiro’s heart.
