The roaring silence wasn't equivalent to the massive pain they're suffering from.

All of them couldn't find the strength to recover from such an unforgettable and traumatizing incident, that they decided to just give up. Give up on everything; escaping, calling for help, getting over the heartaches they both felt. Yuri's body was left in the same spot, a white sheet covering her body after Jessica voluntered to find some near the equipments at the back of the room. They wouldn't dare to move her anywhere; all of them thought it was best to leave their dead friend be.

A couple of days has passed. It was the same, old routine just like any other day; wake up, eat, and sleep. The silence went away overtime, allowing most of the members to convey in small talks or long conversations. All and all, everything was slowly going back to 'normal'. Except for one.

Taeyeon couldn't stop it. She just couldn't.

Every night, she would be awake. Wide awake. Staring at the ceiling with a restless mind and drowsy eyes. She wished for a good night's sleep, and thank God, she would drift off into slumber. Until she was woken up by a sound. A human sound, similar to a moan. And when she opened her eyes, she gave a minute for it to adjust the darkness. Once it did, her eyes lay upon the sheet where Yuri's body lies.

It was breathing. Slowly, painfully. Resembling someone who's suffering from a lot of pain. Her moans were soft and hardly loud enough to be heard by the others sleeping around her. Then it gets louder, and louder. The moans turned to screams of pain and horror, bleeding into Taeyeon's ears as she tried to block out the noise by covering her ears tightly. No matter how hard she tried, the screams were getting louder. And closer. She peeked her eyes a little, surprised to found that the others remained asleep and unaffected by the monstrous noise coming from 'Yuri'.

Taeyeon couldn't handle it anymore. She doesn't know if this was real, or just all in her head. She wanted it to stop. Stop. STO-

"Taeyeon! Taeyeon, wake up!"

She woke up, her face drenched in sweat and tears. The beating of her heart stayed rapid and fast, her lips quivering from the intense experience. Gaining focus on her vision, she slowly make out the faces of her friends gathering around her. In front of her was Tiffany, looking at her worriedly. Taeyeon felt the girl's hands holding onto her shoulders for dear life.

The leader started to cry. With no hesitation, she jumped into Tiffany's arms and held her tightly. The tears rolled down her face like a waterfall.

Tiffany wrapped her arms around the fragile girl, still in shock after being waken by the sounds of Taeyeon screaming and shouting in her sleep. She didn't know what else to do, neither the other members. This has been going on after Yuri's death. As much as she pitied her helpless friend, as much as she wanted to help, she didn't know what to do in this state.

Taking a deep breath, she sighed and mumbled a soft tune. Something that she came up with in a moment of desperation.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest... come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..." she chanted the lines of a familiar quote from the Bible like a mantra, praying to the Lord that all of them will find peace and a way to end this living hell.

Just a heads up, I'm not a Christian. This quote from the bible actually sounded really suitable for this chapter, so why not?

I really, really, really apologize for my sudden disappearance! It's been a hectic couple of months, with school and exams and unfinished projects. And thank God, it is over! I have completed freshman year of high school alive, barely.

Also, sorry for the (very) short update. My brain's all wired and tangled up, and I need rest like for real. But I appreciate the ones who subscribed to this story, and the ones who read it as well! Without you guys who keep on supporting me, I wouldn't find the motivation to update so thanks for that!
