I sat down with a book in my hand smelling the aroma coming from the freshly brewed coffee. Turning a page from my book silently until...

“I didn’t ask you to come with me”

“Well, I have to. Our parents want us to stay together”

Those two again. He kept on pulling her while she swatted his hand away repeatedly. I watched as they kept on arguing until she turned to me and smile. She skipped towards me leaving her fiancé behind. She sat in front of me as her fiancé looked at us in disbelief.

“Fancy meeting you here”

“You left your beef jerky behind”

“Him? So?”

He stormed towards us and grabbed her wrist. 

“Stay away from her,” he told me firmly.

“Oww let go” she winched.

“You’re coming with me”

He pulled her forcefully.

“It’s been a long time isn’t it,” I said.

He stopped and glared at me before pulling her away out of my sight. The more you tell me not to come near her, the more I want to be with her.

~ Joanne’s p.o.v ~

What the heck is wrong with this guy? He pulled me from my friend and told him to stay away from me? Is he crazy?

“Get in the car”

“No”

“I’m not in the mood now. Get in”

I wasn’t in the mood to argue either so I went into his car and waited for him to turn on the engine but he didn’t drive.

“What are you doing? Drive already”

I turned to him only to find him looking at me with those eyes. I felt him coming closer to me

“Wait. What are you doing? Yah”

He came closer and I can feel his hot breath but I closed my eyes but nothing happened. I felt something strapped me and when I feel that he wasn’t in front of me I opened my eyes.

“You forgot your seatbelt”

I blew my bangs and covered my face. What was I thinking? That was embarrassing.

“Don’t worry. Won’t touch you either”

“Whatever”

I looked outside. Hmmm, I wonder where we’re going. Should I ask? 

“Where are we going?”

“Busan”

“WHAT”

“Chill. There’s a place where I want you to see”

“It’s freaking 5 hours ride!”

“So? I’m driving. You can sleep”

“I can’t stand for 1 minute with you. What makes you think 5 hours is ok!”

“You sit beside me for almost the whole day in school is ok?”

“GAHH”

He just laughed at me! 

“Well at least fill up the tank. I don’t think it will last”

“Sure.. do you even know how to drive?”

“If we get stranded in the middle of the road I am going to kick you”

“We have a phone. Duh”

“YAH!”

~ Chanyeol’s p.o.v ~

“Are we there yet?”

“No”

- A few minutes later -

“Are we there yet?”

“Stop being so noisy”

“I’m boredddddddd”

“Then go to sleep”

“That’s even more boring”

“Sleep. Maybe you’ll dream about me”

“Oh please. That’s a nightmare”

- One hour later -

“KEEP PUSHING!”

“I AM PUSHING!”

“WELL PUSH HARDER!”

“YAH! YOU PUSH!”

“CAN YOU DRIVE?”

“No..”

“Then PUSHHHHHH”

“DAMMIT, I TOLD YOU TO FILL THE TANK!”

I came out of the car and help her push. Well, I should have listened to her.

“Call someone,” she said

I took out my phone but oops... No signal... I looked at her who is looking at me with her hands on her hips.

“Well?”

“Use yours?”

“No battery”

“Well.. we’re stuck here because there is no signal”

“I’M SO GOING TO KILL YOU!”

She started hitting me but I let her until she is satisfied.

“Done?”

“I want to go home”

“There should be a gas station nearby”

“You push”

I’m not the kind of person to listen to someone but I don’t know why I listened to her and just pushed until we saw the gas station.

“Hi. How can I help you?” 

“Fill the tank up”

“Are you going to Busan by any chance?”

“Yes”

“Young man I don’t think there is enough gas to last for the journey to Busan”

“Ah... I guess maybe next time”

“Your wife looks tired. There is a motel nearby. You should rest and get back to town in the morning”

“She’s not... oh I guess we’ll get going now”

Once the tank if filled I drove to the nearby motel and when we reached I tried to wake her up but she’s so hard to wake I had to carry her in.

“Hi err.. Room for 2”

“Sorry sir there is only one room left”

“Okay I’ll take it”

I carried her to our room and put her to bed. I looked at her sleeping figure for a few minutes before sleep takes over me.
