After that weird phonecall Kai got last Saturday, I less see him around the campus. He doesn't even text or call me anymore as his slave, not that I care, it's just..weird for him.

Anyway, even though Kai said he "wants to work with us", he wasn't showing up during our meetings with Chen but I'm thankful since I get to spend more time with Chen, alone.

"Yuko-ssi?" Chen waves his hands infront of me, I snap back to reality and focuses my gaze back to him, who was sitting across me.

"Ah, neh?" I asked after sipping on my frappe, for the past few days, me and chen would meet up here in this cafe and discusses about the charity work.

"How about Incheon Dog Centre?" he turned and pointed out to his laptop

"Oooh, it's good. The population of dogs they have is pretty big and they have a few helping hands in their center so I guess, this is it" I smiled at him and he nodded in agreement with me

"How about we visit this center tomorrow?" he suggested, dragging his laptop to face him

"Hm, sure" nods and wipes milk traces on my upperlip, looking out on the window, particularly to a french resto across the cafe. Squints my eyes as I watch two familiar people sitting across each other near the window glass of the resto.

"E-eh? Kai? Dani?" widen my eyes as I recognize both of them, eating across each other

"Hm?" Chen looks up to me then follows my gaze

"Ohh. Yeah" chen calmly nods, whips my head to face him

"Are they dating or something? Ah jinjja" rubs my nape out of annoyance then chen peered at me, blinking his eyes.

"Wae? I guess their parents are setting them up" he shrugged like it was the most natural thing in the world

"Ah wae? That's so old fashioned" scoffs as I turn my head towards the two across the cafe

"Uhm, that's the way it is with chaebols. It's just for the bussiness" he explained, nods but is still observing the two who were just eating, not even having a convo, smiles for no particular reason.

"Oh, so Dani's rich? I mean, what is their bussiness?" I faced chen after the satisfaction of the two not talking took over me. Not that I lilke Kai or something.

"Yep, their family owns a hotel bussiness and I think Kai's family is planning to partner up for their bussiness"

"What kind of bussiness does Kai's family have?" I asked

"Oh, they actually have a lot. Fabric, Clothes, and they even have a bussiness for selling imported cars and motorcycle" he said so that explains Kai's big- bike, he's really damn rich.

"But, Kai doesn't want any of those. He hated being praised just because he was rich" Chen started, rubbing his nape as he glance across the cafe

"Eh? Wae?"

"He couldn't trust anyone after that incident which happened around middle highschool. He thinks that people befriends him because he was rich" he explained but I could sense he was leaving some parts out but I didn't push.

"Ah arasseo" slowly nods and looks out the window just to lock gaze with Kai then quickly looks away, trying to hide by sinking down on my chair

, , he saw me.

"Waeyo?" Chen looks at me worriedly, I just shook my head in reply. He just shrug and continue typing on his laptop, probably a letter to the Incheon Dog Centre.

"Oh, hey guys" just then, hears Dani's voice from not far away behind my chair, looks at chen who smiled and nods at her behind me

"Hey" just when I thought she was alone, Kai spoke up and they walked forward and saw me who was in an awkward sitting position

"Hi Yuko-ah" Dani grins at me

"Uh hey" straightens up and fixes my hair

"What brought you here?" Chen casually asked the two

"Kai said he wanted to grab something to drink" Dani said

"Ah" Me and chen chorused in unison

"But since both of you are here, mind if we sit with you?" Kai asked, smirking. Ugh, that smirk really is not a good thing

"Sure, sure" Chen, the kind-hearted guy, just can't say no to them. Why does he have to be such a good guy? My inner fangirl feels can't be controlled anymore. Ahhhh Kim Jongdae sarangh-

I was cut off when Kai squeezed next to me on this couch, glares at him as I try to nudge him away but he stayed still. Turns to look at Chen who was comfortably sitting next to Dani, I just...my chen. Why is he such a gentleman to that girl? Anduaeeeeee.

"Ya, are you listening to me?" Kai nonchantly poke my shoulder, turns my head to look at him

"Mwo?" looks at him with a complete straight face

"Buy me a drink, ppali" did he just boss me infront of Chen and Dani? Waa. Jinjja.

"Wae?" I tried to fight back but winces as he pierce his eyes thru me. Sighs defeatedly and stands but then he held my hand and gave me his black credit card

"No thanks, drink's on me" scoffs as I twist my hand away from his grip and heads to the counter, lining up behind a few people. What chen said earlier hit me, the part where Kai thinks people befriends him just because he's rich. He must've thought that wat when I went all crazed about his black credit card. Come to think of it, Kai wasn't close to anyone but Chen.

His daily routine was go to school then goes home(?) after that and repeat from Monday to Friday. Wow, I even think I have more friends than him. Tbh, I wasn't really like this back in Japan. I made a lot of friends and played alot but it changed when I came back here, after an accident which scarred me, my life and my parents. It was a big accident, they said and I don't realy remember a lot from it and I beg not to.

"Ma'am?" I snapped out of my thoughts as the cashier waves a hand at me, immediately steps forward and leans on the counter, looking up at the menu carved on a long piece of wood.

"Two caramel frapped and two iced americano, please" smiles at her and pulls out my wallet to realize, it wasn't on my backpocket. Starts to panic as I search my pockets on my jeans and on my cardigan

"Looking for this?" whips my head to see Kai, holding my purple wallet and snatches it away from him to pull out some bills and paid

"You're not just a , you're also a thief. Waa" I slowly clapped my hand and carries the tray on my hand

"I did not steal it, you left it. It must've slipped out from your back pocket when you were too busy hiding earlier" he remarked and took his caramel frappe, sipping on it and left. Just like that, he left me standing, he left Dani and Chen waiting. He just left the Cafe without saying another word to us, what a grateful jerk.

"Ah Dani, he left" I told her when I reached our table and settles the tray on the table

"I was expecting that" she sighed and took her frappe, sipping on it as if she was trying to cool down

"Wae? He left? Aigoo, Kim Jongin" Chen clicks his tongue as he stirs his straw

"When we were eating, he was like a robot. No matter how much I tried to cheer him up by cracking jokes, he stayed still and didn't even respond to me. I was shock when he told me he wanted to come here..then it was just for him to ditch me" she sighes as she slump her back on the couch, pouting.

"He's just like that, please bear with him" Chen tried to comfort her and pats her shoulder, I forced a smile to her despite the jealousy boiling deep within me. So that guy just came here to ditch her? What a gentleman. He really is. (note the sarcasm in my voice, jebal)
