Sulli was eating alone when her phone rang.

“Deh appa.”

“Come to my office now. I have something to say to you.”

Sulli ended the call and stares at her food. She sips a bit of her drink and she grabs her bag. There is still 20 minutes before her next class.

She walks with a bright smile to her father’s office. She knocks and went in after he told her to.

“You are here. Sit down Ssul.”

Sulli put down her bag on the table and sits in front of her father.

“Is it something serious appa? I have another class in about 15 minutes.”

“Yes. Of course it is. We are going to give out a scholarship for this boy. He is a year senior from you. What do you think?”

Sulli smiles.

“You still can’t decide appa?”

Mr. Choi laughs.

“I have you to make the decision darling.”

Sulli smiles as she goes through the profile in her hands.

“He is good appa.”

“That’s what I thought.”

“He passes.”

“Thank you dear.”

Sulli shakes her head smiling.

“What is his name?”

“No name in the profile?”

“No appa.”

“Maybe his teacher forgets to fill in his name for me. Kenchana, I’ll ask her later.”

“So, I can go now right?”

“Deh. But chagiya, do moderately. Don’t tire yourself out.”

“Deh appa. Ah one more thing, I will accompany Krystal this noon. She wants to do some shopping.”

“Okay, careful.”

Sulli went to her father and kissed his cheek.

“Bye appa.”

Mr. Choi kisses her cheek and smiles.

“Do well.”

Sulli nods and took her bag before she walks out of the President office.

“She is too much like her omma.”

Mr. Choi smiles at the closed door and turns his view on the computer screen.

“Student.”

I look back and saw my homeroom teacher approaching. I bow to her and smiles.

“Are you going home?”

I shake my head a bit.

“Not yet miss. I’m on my way to the library.”

“Can you follow me for a while?”

I smile and nod.

“Sure.”

She smiles and starts walking to the teachers’ office with me following behind.

“Sit down.”

I sit down and wait for her to speak up; instead she gives me a form.

“Fill this in today neh.”

I took the form and go through it.

Widening my eyes, I lift my face and look at her.

“You got it boy. The president will pay all of the University expenses. Of all 50 students that fill in their details, you are the lucky one who got it.”

“Seriously miss?”

She nods.

I almost cry at that time. I can enter University. I can further my study. I can change my life.

“Thank you Miss. Thank you so much.”

“You deserve it. I saw how eager you are. I saw the passion in you when you study. You strive to success. I pray that you will get it and you did. Congratulations boy.”

I nod. I stare back at the form.

“Go and see President tomorrow after you fill in the form. Tell me if you need anything. I’ll help you.”

“Deh Miss. Kamsahamnida. I’ll get going.”

“Deh, don’t stay in the school too long.”

“I won’t Miss. I still have to go for my part time job.”

She smiles and nods.

I bow to her and walk out of the office. I walk straight to the library. I have to multiply my effort now. There are only few months before school ended and I have to become first of my batch again.

“What would you like to buy?”

“I’m buying my dress Ssul. It will be exciting right?”

“You usually buy it with your mom.”

“Ara but momma is busy with other things. So, I can buy it myself.”

Krystal giggles excitedly.

“What color will suit me Ssul?”

“Let’s pick some dress first and we can pick later.”

“Deh.”

Krystal links her arm on Sulli’s and runs to the boutique in the mall.

The girls pick few dresses with different color. Fuchsia, navy, lime green, violet, mustard and peach.

“I like this color on you.”

Sulli pick up the violet dress and put it in front of Krystal.

“Lovely Krys.”

“Let me change into it.”

Krystal took the dress from Sulli’s hand and runs into the dressing room. She comes out a few minutes later and twirls in front of Sulli.

“Otteyo?”

Sulli smiles.

“Gorgeous.”

Krystal looks at her reflection on the mirror.

“I like this.”

“Don’t you want to try the other one?”

“Ani. This is good for me.”

Krystal walks into the changing room and changes her dress.

“That’s why I love asking you to choose for me Ssul. You choose perfectly.”

Krystal said as she smiles brightly at her best friend.

Sulli chuckles.

“So, do you want to buy some accessories?”

“Absolutely.”

Krystal said while she laughs.

“My favorite?”

Sulli said raising her eyebrows.

“Do you have to ask?”

Krystal said excitedly.

Sulli laughs.

“Let’s go now. I’ll ask ahjumma to show you the best accessories.”

“Ssul, you are so jjang. Kaja palli.”

“Let me take my bag.”

Sulli took her bag while Krystal paid for her dress.

“Kamsahamnida.”

Sulli and Krystal smile at the staff and walk out to the accessories shop, smiling and skipping while they sang their favorite song.

“Momma. My friend will be here on Krystal’s party.”

“Chinca?”

The boy nods while he sips his drink.

“He wasn’t going to come at first but I make him agree.”

He smiles.

“Dear, you shouldn’t force him if he doesn’t want to.”

“I’m not forcing him momma. I just ask him.”

A proud smile lits on his mother face.

“Good darling. Don’t ever acts like a snob. I don’t want my kids to be hated.”

“Ara momma. We won’t.”

“Good boy. Now where is your sister? It’s been hours since she went shopping.”

“With whom?”

“Sulli.”

He smiles.

“Ahh. Let her be momma. She is her best friend right.”

“Omo, why are you smiling? Are you having a crush on her son?”

“Aniyo. I can’t do that.”

He took an apple and jumps down from his chair.

“I’m going to my room momma.”

“Deh.”

I still don’t mention the guys name…
