Baekhyun was in his Arithmancy class. He was bored at the time. Who couldn’t be more bored? The professor was telling the class some equation. Baekhyun hates numbers. Every time he tried to solve a question, he would’ve ended up stuck in one question and can’t proceed to the next one. He then usually asks for Jongdae’s or Joonmyeon’s help since they’re in Ravenclaw; they got the brains while he got the courage. Also, he only chooses Arithmancy because it was the only subject that has the title not-so-hard-but-still-well-considered besides Muggle Studies which he already choose. He didn’t even put any effort in Muggle Studies.

Baekhyun then took a glance to the front where the professor has started a new material to learn. He then straightens his sitting position. Baekhyun was the type of person that never gives up on anything even though he had already tried and failed, he will always try again and again. He then watched as the professor telling the class how to solve the equation once more. He scratches his head and started to feel confuse.

He started to have thoughts on his head and he remembered what Joonmyeon always said to him every time he was practicing for the Quiddicth tryouts, “Always put your best effort to achieve what you want.” 

He grunts while putting his chin back at the desk. Effort my , he thought. He then blew a raspberry.

Then he got up from his seat abruptly and his action causing Chanyeol to wake up from his sleep. Chanyeol was sleeping on his desk next to him. His frustration of failing class has overcome his mind and made him forgot about his surroundings. He even forgot that he got his best friend asleep through the class. Baekhyun sighed looking at his best friend who is now fixing his head position on the desk to sleep and the he watched him drifted back to sleep. He then remembered why he got up from his seat and immediately spun to the front and raised his hand. The professor saw him and then he stop the lecture.

“I’m sorry sir, but I just remember that I have my Quidditch practice for the tryout this afternoon.”

“Oh really? And with whom will you be practicing if I may ask?”

“Mr. Luhan sir, form the fifth year. And Mr. Yixing from the third year.”

“Okay then you may go,” he gestured his hand to Baekhyun and then he packed up his things. “I’ll see you after class Yeollie.” He nudges Chanyeol and made him groan. Baekhyun then walked out of the class and run his way to the Gryffindor’s Common Room. He then threw his bag to his bed and changed his uniform into Quidditch uniform.

He then rushed outside his room and to the common room then out into corridor until he finally reached the entrance of the castle. He bumped into people every now and then because of the rush pace. He then walked to the training grounds where he learns how to fly with a broomstick for the first time. And he was whistling when he walked, he was remembering the time when he hoped into a broomstick for the first time in this field. What a beautiful memory, he thought inside.  

He looked around the field and saw no one. He then looked at his watch and then sighed in frustration. Luhan promised him that he’ll practice with him when the clock strikes to twelve, an hour before lunch break. And Yixing told him that he will be joining them at twelve thirty because he said that Divination class usually ends half an hour before lunch break which was at one o’clock. “Aish I can’t even let myself late when it comes to them that ask me to come.” He looked around again and then he saw a figure walking from the castle entrance to the field. A girl, wearing the same Quidditch uniform as the one he wore but they weren’t red.

It was green.

Baekhyun squinted his eyes as he followed her figure that walked across the field and finally she reaches where Baekhyun stands.

“Hi Baekhyun,” she beamed. There’s this bubbly sense that came out from her voice. She sounded really cheerful to him and he smiled.

“Hi Misun.”

“What are you doing here?” she asked as she leaned on her broomstick that she was carrying.
