Let me tell you about the story of how I became friends with Mark. Who is Mark? Well, he's my best friend, and no one can ever replace his spot. 

It all started when I was in the states, and I had to choose a place to transfer to, to further my education. 

"Mom, why do I have to go to Korea? I don't even know a single sentence in Korean." I whined, and my mom only rolled her eyes, and started to speak to me in Korean. I assume she was cursing at me. "Just go. I say you go, then you go." My mother isn't the best at English, but she knew enough for her to go around. "But mom, how will I survive?" I asked. She threw me a book, and I flipped it to the front. The title read, "Koreans for dummies". I rolled my eyes, and looked at her. "Really?" I groan when she nodded and just walked away.

After the semester ended, Ahri was sent to Korea. Although she didn't want to got there, her mother had forced her to, and she hated them a bit. Her mother had told her that she wanted her to go to Korea to learn about her culture, since Ahri was so white washed.

The doors to the airport opened, and the scent of Seoul kissed Ahri's nostrils. "Great, I have no idea where to go. Why didn't mom get me a translator?" Ahri's asks no one in particular, but herself. She stroll out of the airport with her luggage, and entered a whole new world.

Luckily for Ahri, she managed to find her way to her apartment that she would be staying for the rest of the school year. 

Hi, it's me again. Ahri. Let me just skip that whole part about me entering my apartment. You guys would not want to hear about my boring night, right? Okay, let me skip to when I met Mark.

Ahri went to school at 7 am, because she was not familiar with the school yet. Even though she had a map of the school, she couldn't really read maps. "Ugh." Ahri groaned, and walked up the stairs. She didn't look up, because she's the type of person who looks down, while walking and all, but is cautious at the same time.

Right when she was three steps away from the last step, someone knocked into her, making her drop all of her books. Although she tried to save her books from falling, she failed miserably. Ahri mentally cursed whoever it was. She looks up to meet a pretty boy face. Not exactly a pretty boy, but he looked cute. The boy looked down, and their eyes locked for a quick second. "Uhm, I'm sorry." The red haired boy says, and bent down to pick up Ahri's books. "Oh no, it was my fault." Ahri said, and bent down to help, but she was just quicker. 

Okay stop! It's me, Ahri again. I want to stop you guys there, because I felt dumb with what I did next. So let's skip to the interesting part. Where I became Mark's best friend. I won't promise anything, but for now, I won't be bothering you guys anymore, as you guys continue to read.

"Ahri, where's Mark?" Yoogeum asks. Ahri shrugged her shoulders, and looked around. "I have no idea." Ahri answers truthfully. "Girl, you got to keep an eye on your man." Bam bam teased. "Shut up maknae, he's not my boy-" right then Mark walked by. "Not your what?" Mark asks, as he sat down next to Jackson. Ahri answers laughing nervously, "nothing. Bam bam's just being bam bam again." Mark looked at Bam bam then nodded. "Cool."

"So, what's everyone doing tonight?" Jaebum asks. "Nothing like the usual." Youngjae says lazily. "Why?" He asks. "You guys want to come hang out at my place tonight? No ones going to be home." Jaebum said. 

"Can't, I have a thing going on tonight. Sorry, gotta bounce." Jackson stood up, and grabbed his backpack then left the group. Ahri narrowed her brows, and kept her eyes on Jackson, before he disappeared. She wondered what was wrong with him. "Ahri? You coming or not?" She could hear Jaebum asks. "Yeah, sure." She wasn't even paying attention. Mark noticed how she stared at Jackson, and frowned. Is there something going on that he doesn't know about?

"Oh, my class is going to start soon. See you all later tonight." Ahri said, and grabbed her belongings before she ran off to her class. Mark didn't even get a single hi, or bye from his best friend, and he frowned once again. He knew that Ahri didn't have class, but he didn't want to say anything. Weird how she left, right after Jackson. Are they up to something?

Mark got up, and informed his friends that he was leaving. He walked Ahri's way, and ran into Hani. "Hi Mark." She says cheerily. Hani was the girl that Mark likes. "Hey." Marks replies. "Where are you going?" Hani asks. "No where, really." Hani smiled brightly. "Oh great. You can come with me then." She grabbed Mark's hand, and pulled him the opposite direction.

Ahri sighed, and pushed her back against the brick wall. She really didn't have classes right now, and pulled that excuse only to get away from Mark. Her heart was beating fast, when she saw Mark, and she literally mentally, scowl at herself. "Why am I feeling like this?" She ask shaper self as she placed her hands over her chest. Luckily Mark didn't follow her, or eyes she'll just become a speechless bum. 

Ahri's phone ring, and she picks it up. "Hello?" Over the phone, she hears h
