(The next day)

I sighed, watching as eight males ran all around the house.

Doing what? Don’t know. No one will tell me anything.

Asking Jimin and Jongup didn’t work; the healing males just smiled at me and said that I’d find out soon enough.

When I asked Himchan and Yongguk (They insisted that I call them that, though they still address me as ‘Miss.Cha’), they simply told me not to worry, and stealthily avoided me every time after.

As for the other four …..P-Goon has been gone since early this morning and Kookie, his brother Namjoon, and Leo were completely clueless.

All that was left was Hansol, but he was currently concentrating really hard on braiding my hair, and putting it into a bun. Every time I tried to talk to him, he quickly shh’d me and quietly cursed as another bobby pin slipped from his fingers. Which happened quiet often really.

I could feel everyone’s nervousness and tension, but I figured asking about the obvious feelings they were all trying to hide would end up with all of my other questions; unanswered.

“And…” Another bobby pin forced into my thick hair, slightly scraping the scalp. “Done!!”  Hansol exclaimed happily.

When his face came into view, I couldn’t help but return his smile. Hansol was a sweet guy, and it was hard not to smile when his face just glowed and radiated happiness. I easily became attached to the odd couple, because they literally knew so much about me, that it felt like they were one of my own supposed ‘brothers’. And really it made me feel happy, because it felt like my little family grew. All that was missing was Hakyeon.

My thoughts were broken as soft hands cupped my face.

“Hey,” He said softly. “don’t be sad. Everything will be okay, trust me.” His pep talk ended with a soft smile and a sincere look in his eyes.

 “Hansol…..you can let go of her face now.” Someone huffed behind Hansol.

Looking away from Hansol I see a very annoyed looking Jongup, which was a rare sight.

Even with his head turned, I saw Hansol’s bottom lip jut out as his hands fell from my face.

“Hey! You guys got years to treat her like a little sister! I can actually do that now without her thinking I’m some weird freak!” He whined.

My now black haired brother opened his mouth to respond when someone, Himchan I think, called “We’re ready! Let’s load up!”

Standing up quickly, I make a bee line for the door when strong arms catch my waist and pull me back inside. “Whoa there! You aren’t going out there dressed like that!” Leo’s soft voice interjects sternly.

I groan as I am, yet again held back and looked at Leo dejectedly. He was almost as bad as Hakyeon. Almost.

Sluggishly I put on the too-big coat and he finally lets me go outside. I can’t help but feel like I’m five all over again.

By the time I get to the two vehicles, Yongguk’s van was full and there was two spaces left in P-Goons rusty looking car. Before I got in Jimin came running out of the house saying “Wait!” Turning around, he shoved a piece of cloth in my hands and raised the hood of the coat where it easily hid my face.   

“Whatever you do keep the hood up and the mask on, ok?” Jimin instructed, looking serious. I nodded before getting in the car quickly when P-Goon yelled that we were letting all the warm air out. I didn’t have the heart to say Hansol probably had enough hot air to keep the car warm…..However Jimin did which ended with him getting slapped on his still bruised cheek…..

About half an hour later, we entered into a rather large city and parked in a parking garage of the tallest building in the vicinity no more than fifteen minutes after. Exhaling from my nose, the smoke clouds indicated that the tempter dropped drastically from what it was at Hansol’s house, and I kind of felt guilty for giving Leo a hard time about the coat. Hooking the mouth guard over my ears I wait patiently for everyone else to get out.

Everyone started walking to the building but Jimin, who talked with P-Goon before he drove off.  A soft tug on my arm from Jungkook brought my attention back to the others who looked at us expectantly.

“What are you waiting for? An invitation? Let’s go! It’s cold!” Jimin said coolly, ushering us into the building. To say the warm room we entered was elegant would have been an understatement. Everything appeared to shine and sparkle with such class, I felt drastically like a sore thumb. As Jongup and Jimin went to the desk across the room, Yongguk comes to stand next to me.

“Now Miss.Cha, listen closely for I can only tell you once.” He whispered hurriedly. “From here on, no one can know who you are. If some asks who you are, don’t answer them and avoid talking at all cost until we tell you otherwise. Stay close to one of us, but don’t cling or make it obvious, do you understand?”

Questions and comments ran through my head, but his tone told me he was dead serious. I nodded. A small smile graced his lips for a second, but it was gone as soon as it came. He straightened up as my brothers called for us, leading us to a sophisticated elevator. The awkward silence was killing me as we rode to the highest floor.

Intimidated? Yes. Scared? Defiantly. Self-esteem considerably lowered? You better believe.

The room itself was spacious, however the amount of people that occupied it made it look so small. It was filled with people of multiple sizes and genders, but somehow they all managed to be extremely good-looking. Too much pretty in one room. It kind of hurt my feelings.

“Jongup! Jimin!”

And like that the room was filled with happy exclamations. Quietly I hid myself behind the tall statures of Leo and Yongguk as my brothers were bombarded with hugs. With a hand on my back, Hansol lead me, Kookie and Namjoon to the giant table in the middle of the room, with Hansol sitting on one side of me and Kookie on the other. Slowly but surely everyone else started to calm down and claimed seats, until only two were left.

“Hello everyone! It’s very good to see all of you once again! However, I wish it was under better circumstances.” Jongup said as he stood up, gathering everyone’s full attention. Looking around the table he cleared his throat and started to speak again, “As of a few days ago N was kidnapped.” He paused as a few gasped filled the room. “Somehow, someone found out we were guarding over The Babe and tried to distract us long enough so they could take her. But as it appears, they are unaware of our numbers.” With this Jongup smirked. “And they are growing at that. These two men over here have promised to help us retrieve N and help research wise.” Himchan and Yongguk stood up and bowed before sitting again. “These two,”  Namjoon and Kookie stood up this time, “ Were visited by Chanyeol last night, which means that the culprits know who The Babe has been in touch with and is willing to drag them into this mess as well, and probably anyone else they can get their hands on. I’ve called this meeting today because the time has come where we need to live up to our expectations. To bring our talents together and not only to get N back but make sure they don’t get The Babe, and the power she holds.”

I stared in aw at Jongup, unable to believe my goofy and smiley brother, was able to hold so much power and authority in his words.

“Are there any questions?” Jimin asked as Jongup sat down.

“Yeah, who’s that?” A pretty girl with round cheeks asked, pointing my direction. My heart pounded, thinking she was pointing at me.

“Oh how rude of me!” Jongup up laughed. “That is Leo, he witnessed N getting kidnapped, so he can help us identify the culprit as well work as a decent decoy.” He explained simply.

I let out a small relieved sigh. Wait, from what I’ve gathered, these people are all my supposed ‘guardians’. Why do I need to hide from them?

No sooner had the thought occurred to me, my chair was abruptly jerked and spun around; until I came into view of some very tight looking pants. But my face really became hot as the chair leaned back making me look at the very intimidatingly close face of a blue haired man.

“Top what-“ By the time Hansol moved to stop him, he had already pulled down my hood, his eyes going wide.

And that’s when all hell appeared to break loose.

Yeah....I would call this a 'filler' chapter. I know I haven't updated this story in so long and I'm sorry!!!!!!! I've basically had a writers block with this story because of so many serious parts I have to put in it and it kills me internally to be honest with you guys.
