The Wedding PlannerThe talk was light and it took around 3 hours to finish. Whenever I watch Jinri it really seems like we never had a thing. There’s a light sting in my heart knowing that she dumped our 2 years relationship into the trash, and burned it.
She changed… a lot. From her hair to how she dressed, and how she act – everything changed.
I still remember how I met her. She was being bullied and I rescued her… in a way.
Sehun was shouting at three girls, telling them to get out of his sight, while another girl was lying in the ground. I quickly ran towards him as he carried the girl bridal style.
“What happened to her?” I asked sounding a little bit concerned.
“God, she’s heavy.” I heard Sehun grunted. I gave him a dumbfounded look and smacked his head.
“Hyung, can you do me a favor and take her to the clinic? I’m still kinda in the middle of dance practice and I suddenly ran off when I heard this stupid girl is being bullied.” He was panting heavily, and his voice sounded so nervous.
I looked at the girl in his arms – she looks really pretty… wait, beautiful in fact! She looked like an angel.
I nodded as I reach my arms out. Sehun gently gave her to me, “Thank you!” And he ran off just like that.
She’s not heavy to be honest. I think Sehun just doesn’t really have any arm strength.
I turned around and quickly went to the clinic. Once I got there the nurse immediately asked me what happened – I wasn’t really sure but Sehun told me she was being bullied so…. That’s what I told her.
She instructed me to walk in the wards and lay her down in one of the beds while she’ll go get some stuffs to treat her wound. I did what the nurse said.
I lay her down the bed and sat on the stool besides the bed. I looked at her; her skin was really milky, milkier than Sehun. I've always thought that no one would be as white as Sehun. Guess I was wrong.
I bit my lower lip once my eyes landed on her plump lips – her lips have the color of a cherry.
I stood up and gently wipe the blood on the corner of . I ‘accidentally’ brushed my thumb on full her lips. It was so soft.
I leaned in to take a closer look at her face. Damn, she’s really beautiful. Our noses were already touching and our lips were an inch close. I could feel her breathe against my lips. I could’ve gotten closer, but I knew I couldn’t.
I pulled away and sat on the stool. I sighed deeply and ran my fingers through my hair. What the hell is wrong with me?! I can’t take advantage of a girl. It’s wrong… very wrong.
The nurse came sooner and later. She started to clean her wounds and treat them. After 15-17 minutes the nurse was finally done. She told me that I should be in class but I told her that I’m new and I won’t be officially starting class till tomorrow. She gave me a light nod and left me with the girl.
I stood up and looked at her again… she looks like snow white and she has a really great bod- I cleared my throat and loosen up my tie a bit.
Darn, teenage hormones! I suddenly heard a small groan from her and I immediately composed myself. Her eye fluttered open – her eyes are really beautiful; hazelnut color, round, and doe.
My thoughts snapped out when I noticed she was a hard time sitting up. I helped her and asked if she’s okay and she just nodded.
I stood there completely frozen and unsure of what to do. “Why am I here?” She asked while looking around.
I couldn’t help but chuckled because she looks really cute. I extended my arm for a handshake, “I’m Kim Jongin. You were being beaten by some low class girls.” She shook my hand and man, her skin was soft.
“I’m Choi Jinri. Are you new here?” Her head tilted in a cute manner and I just couldn’t help but smile.
“My parents moved in this town so… yeah. Uhm – can I ask why you were being bullied?” I asked and I wanted to slap myself.
Why would I even ask something personal? That’s just plain stupid, great work Kim Jongin. Really nice.
She smiled, “Because of Sehun.” Sehun? Oh Sehun? That punk never told me he has a girlfriend. So, that’s why he ran off… just to save her. Well, Sehun doesn’t talk much anyway.
I raised my brow and looked at her. “Sehun’s your boyfriend?” I asked.
“My best friend” She chuckled and suddenly started walking. I followed her behind, like I’m some kind of a shadow.
I don’t know why but I actually felt relieve. She told me how Sehun was courting this girl and I forgot the others, but in the end I asked her if I could join her at lunch and which she agreed, and I left with a great mood.
Lunch went by rather slow or I was just bored. I came to the cafeteria and I saw her hanging out with Sehun. It was quite a sight because Sehun was actually being talkative and Jinri… she looked annoyed while she rolled her eyes at him.
That’s when she saw me. She blinked a couple of times and I swear I think a blush appeared on her face. I waved and smiled at her and she nodded in acknowledgement… and I suddenly saw Sehun waving at me.
I think he thought I was waving at him. What a .
I laughed and started walking towards them. I sat in the middle of them and I heard Sehun groan in annoyance.
I turned to him and smack his head lightly, “, why the hell didn’t you tell me you were courting someone?” He shrugged and suddenly stole Jinri’s sandwich and stood up with a grin.
Jinri blinked at first and suddenly gape. “YAHH! That’s mine.” she shouted.
“It would be embarrassing if I told you and I suddenly got dump. And I got to go. I need to catch up with dance practice” He said and winked at Jinri before running away.
Jinri whined while muttering un-audible words. But I can hear her mumble, “Stupid Hunnie, Dumbhun, and I hope you trip on a banana peel.”
I laughed and ruffled her hair. I can clearly tell she was startled since her shoulders suddenly popped up, but soon relaxed. “I’ll buy you lunch.” I said and she looked at me with startled eyes.
She shook her hand, “No, it’s okay! I ate lunch already.” She smiled at me.
“But Sehun just stole your lunch?” I asked while looking at the direction where Sehun left.
She chuckled and shook her head, “It’s originally for him. Sehun always stole my sandwiches. So, I decided that I should just pack two sandwiches and eat the other one for a head start. I don’t even know why he just won’t let me make him one; he keeps saying it’s not fun, so I always have a head start for lunch.” She pouted and crossed her arms.
I laughed at her cuteness, “You’re cute, you know?” I told her.
She looked down and I can tell she’s being shy.
I ruffled her hair again, “Sehun has a weird mind. He maybe quiet but he’s totally crazy.” I told her and she laughed.
Her laugh was very unique and funny. I like her laugh… a lot. “Oh… I forgot to ask. You and Sehun know each other?” She asked as she looked at me.
I nodded and smiled, “Yeah. We knew each other since we were from the same middle school.”
“Ohhh. I forgot, Sehun was in a boy school when he was in middle school.” She pursed her lips and nod. “We were part of the school dance team. We’re a trio actually.” I chuckled as I remembered those days.
Suddenly I felt a small hand on my arm. I looked at Jinri with much confusion. She tilted her head and squinted her eyes, “You dance?” she asked while I nodded.
She smiled widely – her eyes formed into a crescent moon and I swear my heart beats became ten times faster than it should be.
“You should show me sometime!” She chimed and grinned widely.
I gulped and my cold sweats run through my back. Sehun isn’t the type of person who be friend girls. I know since we were always surrounded by girls back in middle school… and up until now to be quite honest. But yeah he find girls annoying.
Now I know why he’s friends with her. Her smile is enough to brighten anyone’s day.
“Alright, Jinri. I will. I promise.”
Taemin hyung looked at his wrist watch and suddenly whispered something to Jinri.
Krystal and her was still in the middle of their conversation – about fairytale wedding or something, I can tell that Krystal was enjoying it since she didn’t take her eyes off Jinri even for a second, while Taemin hyung and I just listened to them quietly.
“So, I have a meeting with a client. As much as I want to continue this talk, Taemin and I really need to go.” She and Taemin stood up.
Krystal sighed, but she still smiled, “Alright then. Let’s shop soon, okay?” She grinned and stood up too, meaning that I should stand up as well.
“Let’s meet again with Sehun, Kai.” Taemin hyung grinned.
I nodded and grinned back. We did a high five and everything felt normal – Except that he’s now dating my ex-girlfriend.
