He quietly locked the main door. He blankly stare at the road in front of him. He walk to nowhere, trying to clear his mind. His feet landed to the park near their house. He sat down quietly and look at the sky. Deep sigh escaped from his mouth.

“It’s really hard..”

He closed his eyes. He scratch his head roughly.

He cover his face with his hand.

“Yah Stephan Hwang!”

Stephan close his eyes and sigh. He turned his head and met a big smile in front of him.

“What do you want Taeng?”

Taeng grinned and ruffle Stephan’s head.

“Where’s my homework nerd?”

Stephan sigh and hand give his notebook. Taeng smile and grabbed it.

“Thanks nerd!”

With that, Taeng leave the class with his gang. Stephan rest his head on his table.

“Yo nerd.”

Stephan look up from his desk.

“You’re late.”

The later snickers.

“Kim again?”

Stephan nodded from his desk. The later just shake his head.

“Why don’t you decline this time?”

Stephan keep silent. The later sigh.

“Scared?”

Stephan glared at him.

“I’m not scared, Soonkyu.”

“Oh really?”

Soonkyu smirked. Stephan growled.

“Shut up and leave me alone.”

“Are you on your period?”

Stephan slap his head.

“Not my head man! Geez! My hair...”

Soonkyu pout.

“Go away.”

“Fine. Geez.”

With that, Soonkyu leave Stephan alone. Stephan rest his head again on his desk. Suddenly, he felt someone his hair.

“I thought you were sleeping.”

He turned his head toward the voice and smile softly.

“Morning Sooyeon.”

Sooyeon smile and Stpehan’s hair. He really like it when Sooyeon giving him attention.

“I thought you always tell me that i’m a sleeping princess. Why did you steal that name from me, prince?”

Stephan smile sheepishly and pinch her cheek.

“Alright princess. I will not steal that name from you.”

Sooyeon nodded and smile. Stephan too, smiling because of Sooyeon’s smile.

“Ah.. What are you doing here? Don’t you have any class this morning?”

“I do. But my teacher isn’t come yet.”

Stephan nodded and play with Sooyeon’s finger. If you don’t know about them, you’ll thought that both of them is dating. But they’re just bestfriend, not more. But only one of them think like that. Whenever Sooyeon playing with her phone or sleeping, Stephan always use that chances to adore Sooyeon’s face. He actually fall in love with Sooyeon since the first time his mother introduce Sooyeon to him. But Sooyeon always told him that she really love him, as a brother, nothing more. After all, there is someone who stole Sooyeon’s heart. Yes, it’s—

“Morning princess.”

Stephan and Sooyeon turn their head to the voice. Sooyeon blushed.

“A-ah.. Morning Taeng oppa..”

Taeng grinned and sit beside Sooyeon.

“What are you doing here?”

“I-I’m just visiting Stephan oppa..”

“Are you sure both of you not dating?”

Sooyeon and Stephan’s eyes widened.

“W-what? No! Of course not! Right oppa?”

Sooyeon turned her head. Stephan gulped.

“O-of course not.”

Taeng smile widely.

“Well, that means i still have a chance, right?”

Sooyeon blushed madly. Taeng grinned and patted Sooyeon’s head.

“Go back to your class princess. Our teacher will be arrived shortly.”

Sooyeon nodded and run out from the class. Taeng smile and turn his head.

“Hey Steph.”

Stephan lift his head and furrowed his brow.

“Yeah?”

Taeng pulled the chair in front of Stephan desk.

“Um.. Is it okay for you if i date Sooyeon?”

Stephan’s heart stop beating. He know that his dearest bestfriend is in love with man in front of him.

“W-why do you ask me?”

Taeng scratch his head.

“Uh.. Well.. You’re her bestfriend. I guess i need your permission.”

Stephan keep silent and look at Taeng blankly. Taeng look at Stephan nervously.

“Well..”

Taeng gripped his chair tightly. Stephan silently chuckled with his behavior.

“I guess... It’s fine.”

Taeng jump from his seat and reach toward Stephan, ready to hug him.

“But!”

Taeng stop in a really awkward pose.

“You need to stop your behavior. You know, like asking me to do your homework, being an a**hole, and everything. Sooyeon doesn’t like it. do you understand?”

Taeng nodded and reach Stephan collar and pull him toward himself. Taeng kissed him on cheek because he’s too excited.

“Thanks!!!! I promised i’ll be good!”

Stephan nodded and smile. Taeng doing his dorky dance. But suddenly, he stopped and turn his head toward Stephan.

“Hey Steph,”

Stephan lift his head.

“I’m sorry, for everything.”

Stephan furrowed his brow.

“I meant it. i’m really sorry.”

Stephan sigh and smile.

“Don’t worry. It’s nothing.”

Taeng smile and patted Stephan’s back.

“I got your back Steph. Tell me if anyone bothering you okay?”

Stephan nodded. Taeng smile and walk toward his seat, smilling. Stephan saw him and smile too.

“Maybe he’s not bad at all.”

(2 months later)

“Yo Steph!”

Stephan keep walking. Taeng furrowed his brow and tapped his shoulder. Stephan turned his head and take off his headset.

“Morning Taeng.”

“Aish.. I already greet you but you wear your headset.”

Stephan grinned. Taeng and Stephan walk together to their school.

“How is it with Sooyeon?”

Taeng grinned and put his hand behind his head.

“Great, i guess. She’s really cute when she’s blushing. And her smile... God.. It’s really beautiful. Is she an angle?”

Stephan chuckled.

“She’s grown up really well i could say. She used to be a tomboy you know?”

Taeng’s eyes widened. He grab Stephan’s shoulders.

“Really?”

Stephan nodded.

“She used to join Soccer club when we’re little. And she’s pretty good though.”

Taeng’s jaw dropped.

“She was?!!”

Stephan nodded again. Taeng’s eyes widened and shook Stephan’s body.

“MY CRUSH REALLY AWESOME DUDE!!!”

“Who’s awesome?”

Taeng and Stephan’s eyes widened. They turn they head and saw Sooyeon behind them.

“Morning Sooyeon.”

“Morning princess.”

Sooyeon smile and walk with the boys.

“What are you guys talking about?”

“N-Nothing.”

Sooyeon glare at Taeng. Taeng gulped and asking for help from Stephan trough an eye contact. Sooyeon saw it and look at Stephan.Stephan gulped.

“Well...”

“Well?”

The bell’s ringing. Taeng and Stephan sigh silently.

“I guess i’ll see you guys on break?”

The boys nodded. Sooyeon smile and kiss Stephan cheek.

“Bye oppa!”

Both of them waved their hand. When Sooyeon is out from their sight, Taeng grabbed Stephan’s collar.

“What the hell man?!”

“W-What?!”

“She kissed you!”

“So?!”

“Aww man!”

“It’s our routine! Geez!”

Taeng let go of Stephan and pout.

“So you’re not confess to her yet?”

Taeng blushed and lowered his head. He shake his head.

“Be a man dude. She’s totally into you. I swear.”

“You think she’ll accept me?”

“I’ll run around our school if she reject you.”

“DUDE!!”

Stephan turn his head and being hugged by a man.

“Sooyeon is my girlfriend now!!”

Stephan chuckled and ruffle Taeng's hair.

“Told you.”

Taeng grinned.

“Thank you. i promise i’ll take care of her with my life. I’ll never ever hurt her.”

Stephan smile.

“I know you won’t.”
