Babysitting SoShi
Babysitting EXO II: The SoShi Secret [Quick ending at last chapter!]Okay, so here's the thing. I know this whole Kris thing isn't over yet, and we don't know what's really happening. But a lot has asked me if I'm going to continue this story if Kris leaves. Now, I made up my mind and I decided to finish this story as soon as possible while there are no news about Kris' situation yet. If, however, it is legitimate that Kris is leaving and this story isn't finished yet, I will have to decide again. It solely depends on the situation.
“The words that last exited your lips are ringing through my heart,
And I just can’t imagine you and I now forever apart…”
“Are you okay?” Baekhyun asked Sooyoung, and she immediately replied a cold ‘yeah’. She turned her head away so as to avoid his gaze and she brushed what she saw off her mind. *I must only be hungry.*
The metal doors on the other side of the ‘elevator’ opened and out came a man in a suit. The people – or rather, agents – in the middle part of the headquarter bowed and greeted, “Annyeonghaseyo, Mr Wu.” His badge said ‘Richard Wu’ and underneath it read ‘CEO’ in smaller letters. *The owner of this company.* Taeyeon thought.
“You’re finally here!” He shouted to the girls with wide open arms. “Now, I know you won’t remember me but I think it’s just right that you girls get a good explanation as to what is happening.”
“Of course we do.” Tiffany replied.
“This way, then.” Mr Wu led them inside EXO’s operation room, with EXO (except Sehun, who was consoling his girlfriend) following behind. As soon as the metal doors shut, the speakers began to play a ‘happy’ tuned song.
‘Hello, hello, moshi, moshi. Ciao, ciao, busy, busy…’, played the music.
“Kai, you idiot, you set it on auto-play so it plays when we get here?!” Chen exclaimed.
“Well what the hell is wrong with it? At least I don’t have to play it all the time when we get here!” Kai shot back.
“Are you seriously going to do that now?” Xiumin asked, massaging his temple.
While they argued, the girls only froze in their spots – eyes wide, mouths agape.
“Wha-what is this song?” Yuri asked, obviously frightened. “I… I can hear my voice.”
On cue, Mr Wu pressed a button and a gigantic holographic screen appeared in front of them. There was a video playing. The background was all pink; there were nine girls in different colourful clothing who look just like them in the room. They were all sitting down as the camera moved from left to right; voiceovers saying ‘Hello?’ and ‘Moshi moshi?’ could be heard. Then it said ‘Beep Beep’ on the screen; and underneath it were the words ‘Girls’ Generation’. They started singing and dancing; different words and pop-up symbols kept appearing on the screen. It was them. It was them singing, but they have no memory of it.
“Where did you get this from?!” Taeyeon shouted.
“From you.” Kris replied. “But of course, you won’t remember. And yet again, we were the reason you made this.”
“Don’t lie to me.”
“Do I look like I’m lying?” He pointed at the hologram screen. “How else will we get this? You are them, and those are your voices. I am not lying. We are not lying. You’re just refusing to believe.”
“Because that basically makes us go against our whole existence.” Taeyeon shot back. “You mean our whole lives, we’re not who we are?!”
“No. Your memories have simply disappeared; we don’t know how, but we know that it has for sure.”
Taeyeon scoffed while turning away.
“Think about it.” Kris began again. “Do you even remember where you were born?” His question made Taeyeon face him again. Kris, however, turned to the other girls. “Do you remember where you were born? How were your childhoods? Where are your parents? How did you grow up?”
The girls bowed down. These questions… they were questions that should’ve been answered so easily and yet… yet here they are, unable to answer them because they don’t remember.
Kris bobbed his head at the members and they immediately went to their spots and sat down. They began typing onto their holo
