Silence filled the place for a few seconds; Kris’ heart slowly shattering as each one passed.

“Ah is that so?” Baekhyun broke the short silence as he laughed awkwardly.

Taeyeon nodded and replied. “Nae. I love how you hit high notes.”

Ouch. Kris’ fists then curled but Chanyeol gently nudged him. Kris’ head turned to face him and he saw Chanyeol mouthing to him ‘don’t be mad, they don’t know’. With that, Kris heaved out a silent sigh and just sat there as Baekhyun MC-ed; the interview was coming to an end anyways.

“And your Gyeonggi-do dialect when you came inside the haunted house.” Taeyeon continued and laughed as she gave him two thumbs up. She showed complete signs of fangirl adoration towards Baekhyun; and Baekhyun will be honest, if it wasn’t for Sooyoung (and the fact that Taeyeon belonged to his dragon hyung who was capable of pulling his organs out with one hand), he would’ve liked her.

“Although that Indian bap during the 007 bang game for Kai was quite ruthless.”
 Yoona jokingly commented. “He seemed really hurt.” By then, she couldn’t quite hold in her laugh and bursted with her alligator laugh.

The whole room was then covered with a series of laughs as Kai pointed at her with an excited expression while shouting, “That’s right! That’s right, isn’t it?!” in a tone that sounded as if what Yoona said was indeed true. “My skin colour imitated Chen hyung’s hoodie!”

Everyone else – boys and girls – clapped as they laughed so hard their stomachs had started hurting so much; some were even stomping their feet on the ground as if their aching stomachs weren’t enough.

“You think that was ruthless?!” Tao countered. “Try getting hit because of a game you didn’t know how to play!”

“You all can talk! Chen hit me on the spot!” Kris shot while pointing angrily at Chen. “And as if once wasn’t enough- Ugh I can still feel the pain!” Kris grimaced at the memory as he placed a hand of his on his temple.

Everyone – especially the girls – continued to laugh again but much harder. After their laughter, they were all leaning back on their seats as they kept panting and gasping for air from the entire snickering.

“Ah… my stomach hurts…” Seohyun stated; but her smile wouldn’t fade. “That was the best laugh I’ve had in years.”

“EXO is really the best.” Jessica let out; complete with a wide angelic smile.

At the sight of it, the boys stared at each other for less than a second – so as to not look obvious or suspicious – and bowed. “Thank you!” It was indeed very unusual to see Jessica smiling at such a situation – it was not something she would usually smile at.

However, although the boys maintained their characters and it seemed like nothing in them changed at all with that smile, Luhan’s heart started racing like crazy that s beside him were able to hear it thumping. Xiumin looked at Luhan and tried his to best to hide his smile.
