Roses
Babysitting EXO II: The SoShi Secret [Quick ending at last chapter!]We have reached 20,000+ words! And... I'm so so so sorry for updating late. I got caught up with otomes (my otome babes are so aahfgasfgasdjh) and yeah, I'm sorry. And, how's the new edit of the poster? XD Also, have you guys heard Kris' song yet? I cried.
“The pink roses without its owner are starting to wither,
I don’t think I can live without your presence either.”
SHINee seemed to have noticed some of EXO just covering their ears during the whole messy commotion. Suho approached the SHINee members and brought them to the balcony, calling Kris on the way. The two leaders had told SHINee what was really going on, despite them being enemies before. SHINee helped the boys to move on from SNSD, so EXO had trusted them fully.
“So you’re saying they don’t remember at all?” Onew asked, “How is that possible?”
“We don’t know either, hyung,” Kris replied.
“Who would even do such things to the noonas?” Taemin inquired; he was pouting, obviously upset.
“We don’t know either,” Suho answered this time, “all we know is that they lost their memories. We do know there’s someone behind it, someone they follow or respect.”
“How do you know?”
“We overheard them talking on the phone, and the man over the phone said to ‘break us’. That itself does not need any further explanations.”
“You’ve tried everything to get their memories back?” Minho inquired.
Suho and Kris nodded, “We’ve brought them here in the hopes of making them remember that this is where they trained to be professional spies, this is where we became close. We’ve also tried to tell them their past.”
Jonghyun almost choke at the hearing of Kris’ words, “Wha-! You mean you told them about their parents?!” Yet again, the two only nodded, “But they tried so hard not to remember a single thing about those at all…”
“We were stuck and didn’t know what to do. It seemed that was the only solution at the time.” Kris answered, “If that didn’t work, then what would?”
“Are you sure you’ve tried everything?” Key blurted, his hands crossed. “From what I heard, you only found them less than a week ago.”
“That’s right, hyung. Why?”
“They were gone for a year, you know,” Key immediately replied. “They could’ve lived lives that were not their own for that whole duration. You can’t possibly expect them to remember their real lives in just a few days.”
“Key has a point. I think you’re being too impatient.” Onew added. His phone then rang and he went to answer it.
From then, Key continued to speak. “You know what you need? Time and patience. Wait for them to remember, be patient. As for you, you should go back into your own memories and think of other things that may make them remember. Basically, go back to the time that you think was most important to you and them, then bring them there.” He said. “And what perfect way to go back in time than to look at pictures?” Key gave them a smile, and then Onew returned.
“Guys, that was hyung. We have a set schedule in two hours. We should go.”
With that, Suho and Kris led SHINee to their car and waved goodbye as they drove off. As the two leaders walked back inside, something struck Suho and he froze in his spot. “Memories…” he muttered, catching Kris’ attention.
“What?”
“… Memories are important…”
“Forgetting us is acceptable, too.”
“Don’t be saddened that we’re gone.”
“We don’t want you to keep on loving dead girls.”
All these voices rang in his head, and he knew who said them, but he couldn’t remember where or when.
Suho shook his head, “Nothing.”
They walked inside to face the commotion yet again. The whole room froze and looked at them.
“What have you got to say for yourself?!” Yuri shouted at the two.
“What do you mean?” Suho aske
