Authors who take too long to update a chapter (me). And authors who can’t wait until their current story is done before moving on to the next one, in the end neglecting the first one (also me).

So basically, this is a complaint made by me. About me.

I think that I seriously take too long to update a chapter and most of the time I’m just procrastinating lots of work. Also, I start way too many stories without completing the previous ones, often resulting in me discontinuing the previous ones just to focus on the current one, and the cycle just continues.

I am very inconsistent in my updating; I can sometimes update two chapters a week or sometimes take up to a month (or two) to update some short crappy chapter. And don't even mention quality. I write better when I write consistently, but then some Youtube video or some interesting thing catches my attention and bam, I’m drifting away from my writing. This is something that I really need to change (I need someone to slap me across the face actually).

Another thing, I always don't have the motivation to complete a full story, and that bothers me on so many levels. It’s often because I lose interest in my stories easily and find new ideas out of anywhere. Anywhere, I tell you. I could even think of a new storyline while taking a dump. Hell, I could think of one right now.

Um lemme think… This girl is a thousand year-old butterfly and when she turned human, she met some idol (Baekhyun maybe? Hehe) and they fall in love but happens and she is forced to leave then the gods take pity on her and allows her to stay with her dreamy idol boyfriend. Boom, happily ever after. (That’s basically my thought cycle. Okay not really. You guise can have it. In fact, take it away from me so I won’t develop this into a full fanfic!)

I’m weird.

I mean seriously, if you checked my computer, you would find a huge amount of unfinished stories that are never posted, and that's because I had no motivation to finish them. Then when I feel bored, I would go through all the stories and be like “I wrote this? Why do I have no memory of this?”

As some of you know, I have this other story by the name of “Never My Plan”, and I haven’t updated it since two months ago. Every time I tell myself to start on it but something never fails to distract me. Sigh, I think I’ll finish it two years later at this rate… Even as I type now, I’m still working on the third chapter (I’m not getting anywhere).

Also, I began writing this other story, should I post it up? Someone give me advice!

I don’t know if you guise have the same problem, so tell me if you do? Cos I feel so alone in this ;_;

Yeah I’m done ranting. So now you know, this doesn't have to be just ranting about what mistakes others made, it can also be a platform for you to pinpoint your weaknesses and try to correct them (maybe).
